| Now if only we could convince Monsanto and Dow that no matter how clever they think they are being with GM foods there will always be some organism which will figure out how to eat it or a weed that will figure out how to benefit from it (think that both have already started). I just hope the food plants themselves figure out how to revert their seeds to their original forms. Not likely, but I like to hope. Last edited by tcmgpt13; June 11th, 2008 at 02:02 PM. |

| Yes TC....unlikely. YouTube - It's the End of the World as We Know it and I feel fine REM And I DON'T feel fine..... And this: "Marc Valls, a biologist at Spain's National Centre for Biotechnology, warned people not to be alarmed. He said the fungus would only attack CDs under certain conditions. "Even though this fungus is widespread it could only develop on a CD in high humidity and high temperature, which is not the case most of the time," Mr Valls told the BBC. And he said there was a positive side to the story - the ability of micro-organisms to degrade manmade products could help in waste disposal. "Nature is very clever and, for all the materials that we design, sooner or later they will be degraded by some organism." NATURE IS VERY CLEVER and for all the materials that WE design, SOONER OR LATER THEY WILL BE DEGRADED BY SOME ORGANISM YEAH, PROFESSOR....ESPECIALLY WHEN WE PLAY AROUND WITH WHAT NATURE DESIGNED...LIKE CREATING ORGANISMS THAT EAT MAN MADE PRODUCTS AND THEN GET INTO OUR BODIES.
