Natural Health Products Under Threat

Hi All
Canada has past Bill C36 that will stop the sale of most natural Health Products like the ones I use to fight morgellons.The Bill will take away the Rule of Law in the area of consumer products which gives the people protection from the state.(Canadian Bill of Rights of 1960 and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom of 1982)
December 13 2010 was a sad day for me and the peole that tryed to stop the Bill.
Good luck to the people trying to stop S 510 in the U.S.

S.510 didn't pass last week, but I just got a notice from Health Freedom Threats: Codex, FDA, Vaccinations, GMOs :: HealthFreedomUSA.org today saying they are still trying to push it through. I always sign the petitions and get feed-back right away...

The European ban on herbal remedies comes in to effect in 4 months in the UK.

If the Independent is correct the following are at risk:

Remedies under threat
Cascara bark (Cascara sagrada, Rhamnus purshiana)
Helps stimulate a sluggish bowel.
Pau D'Arco (Tabebuia impetiginosa)
Anti-inflammatory, used for infection control.
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera, or winter cherry)
Anti-inflammatory, for arthritis and boosting the immune system.
Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis/Chinese skullcap)
For anxiety, headaches and pain relief.
Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria)
For stomach acidity, diarrhoea, headache.
Horny goat weed (Epimedium grandiflorum)
Used to enhance libido.

I think Pau D'Arco is the only one known to assist some morgies (according to Gwen Scott ND). But is that all??? It cant be, else why all the fuss..

As the fellow in the article states, it's nonsense regulation of nonsense.

Herbal remedies are being regulated as if they were drugs and as if they worked exactly like drugs which in itself is a nonsense assumption.

The law especially penalizes those who make herbal formulas as they must prove the value of each herb. Yet those who make such inane laws fail to recognize that herbs usually work best in formulas and there is no way to measure how they interact together.

I would have to say that cascara sagrada used with other herbs could help us as it is very important to keep the bowels from becoming sluggish. Although I do not like using such formulas long term and the ones I use do not contain this particular herb in my own case I feel the long term use of two TCM formulas has improved my health over this past year. Now that some connection has been made to the intestinal area, lesions, and morgellons, especially the lesions found in one person's small intestine, I feel that banning an herb like this can be counterproductive to many who have intestinal issues.

Ashwagandha is another herb which could be useful to us, especially if used in a formula (triphala). This herb may help the endocrine system, the thyroid especially. Many with Morgellons have endocrine system issues IMHO and probably since most who have symptoms are women the thyroid is often involved, again IMHO. This herb also may help arthritis and inflammation which are also issues some of us have.

Without the type of skullcap mentioned (the Chinese version) many Chinese formulas would not work to treat many different conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, allergies, inflammation and more. It's being studied in the west to treat some cancers.

Talk about a nonsense law, but that's not the main issue here. The main issue is that of controlling of people in every way conceivable.

Hi Nick,

I am so sorry the bill to get rid of herbs in Canada passed. It is a sad day when evil wins.

Here in America, the Bill S510 passed our congress as it was sandwiched in between money bills.This bill puts the "muck mucks" in charge of the food. So we will be made to eat unlabeled GMO food. Like Canada, we sent several million contacts to the president and congress. It still has to be signed by the president and we are still letting him know we do not want this so called food safety bill. Millions of us are are flooding the president's office with petetions, emails, phone calls etc. asking Mr Obama not to sign this S510 bill.

It was reported that Mr. Obama's next area of interest will be to nationalize the internet.

We are bing made prisoners of our own resepctive countries. AS sure as I am breathing the End Times are here and our lives will only get worse from hereon.

How sad it is!

Highly doubt Obama cares about anything other then being on vacation. Expensive one at that no doubt. Democrats are largely responsibly for passing that. Not one that I could see on the list that voted NO were democrats although there were many republicans that voted NO.

I have to agree with you Cyn. Obama is one of the most self-centered presidents we have ever had and he spends taxpayer money as if it were endless and the country was still doing well. He knows though that if he spends more money that it will be detrimental to the survival of the US, another goal he seems bent on accomplishing. Everything that has been done in this administration has proven to be a way to rob the US, including all the bailouts. Do not be fooled by his sudden interest in Christianity.

Hi All
Many people can control Morgellons by eating only Natural foods and yes it helps me a lot but I still need some herbel medicine as well. In the area of Canada I live the government gives farmers lones at a better terms. But the Natural farm we bye from was told there production is down because they don't use fertilizer or growth drugs.The farm told the lones people they are a natural farm the government will not give them a lone now because they don't use growth drugs to produce more product.So we (the customers) gave the farm a very large lone to keep them open.It seems the goverment is making it very hard for natural farms to stay open.
