| It's 9pm and my throat is bothering me more than normal... probably from the cat hair on the stuff I got from my sisters house but... I thought it would be great to just take a moment and think about those who are suffering from M and do not know what is making them ill. There are probably many, many people right now, at this very moment, crying and wondering why they are so sick, if they are going to survive the night, if their child has some unknown dangerous illness or contemplating suicide. We have all been there and know how lonely and scary it can be. When things get rough for me, I try (and don't always succeed) to appreciate the things I do know and the fact that there are others out there who are willing to help. Imagine not knowing that and thinking you are loosing your mind and body. My wish is that everyone who is ill from this disaster finds help and can get the monster under control. A cure would be nice but until then, learning to live a somewhat normal life for sufferers is what I would like to concentrate on tonight. Good night my friends and may good things come our way! |

| Hi Jim You know Megan there are a few things that really work, but there is so much static and dis-information going on here that people are finding it difficult to sift through and find truths. None of us want any more people suffering through those horrible nights, alone and desperate. Some times it is not all those fancy speakers, that say with some kind of imagined authority, that they are correct about what heals or helps us. Some times it's the simple "good old Mom cures" that save the day ...delivered by simple people. I pray for For the coming days that the CDC steps up to the plate and reveales the ultimate truth to all of us. Last edited by Janice; June 28th, 2011 at 06:14 AM. |

| Investigations on the role of Agrobacterium in Morgellons Disease urgently needed The investigation launched by the CDC needs to clarify the role of Agrobacterium in the aetiology of Morgellons Disease as a matter of urgency. This should include: Molecular characterization of Agrobacterium DNA sequences in Morgellans Disease patients Design of suitable probes for diagnostic purposes and for monitoring soil samples and other suspected sources of infection Introduction of stringent tests for Agrobacterium contamination for all transgenic plants already released or about to be released into the environment.*** |

| Look at what she said here and realize everyone has to do the same thing. There isn't one way to do anything and when the folks who wield idle threats to anyone who doesn't follow their latest threats realize that there would have been less arguing. There isn't any hope of that. They are so combative they even turn on each other. Quote:

| Meagan, very few people die overnight from Morgellons, at least so far as we know. The folks who do die usually have been very sick with cancer or other issues which are accompanying their Morgellons symptoms. Not everyone gets this sick with Morgellons so please keep in mind, since you are younger than many here, that you have every chance of surviving this for many years if you pay attention to your symptoms and treat those as they occur. That's what I do and I am still here six years later. It is not easy, but you can do it. Over time I am much better than I was when first sick, but I know I will always have to pay attention to what my body is saying. Many of the suggestions about following a good diet and eating as organically as possible have helped many improve their health, including me. Have you ever tried some simple herbal formulas to help improve sleep? There are many of them out there, in the health food stores and online. I find herbs alleviate many of my symptoms although it does take some time to notice an effect with some of them. Chamomile tea is one I use a lot to take the edge off nervous symptoms. When I notice tingling in my legs or feet I sometimes add a bit of chamomile tincture to my chamomile tea to make it more medicinal in effect. Chamomile is not a sleep herb, but it is great for some of the nervous symptoms I experience at times. When I treat the tingling sensations it is then much easier to fall asleep and not dwell on the dark side of Morgellons. In general, IMHO, it is best to try not to focus on Morgellons and to just live as best I can, as you say in your post here. There is still much joy to be found in experiencing the small gifts of life, like the smile of a child or the colors of the clouds at sunset. I hope you will find much joy today, Meagan. For me, finding joy in the world, however small it is, helps to keep the fear of Morgellons at bay. Back to topic please Janice. I thought this thread was supposed to address Meagan's fears and give her some support, not veer off to support your latest tirade about agrobacterium or throw out silly accusations of dis-information.

| janice, I think your so right about the agrobacterium I have been reading a lot on this and I think its the source of infection. For the last 4 days I guess its been 5 I have been so sick w a temp of 101 sore throat, cough, Doctor said it was a sinus infection after going to doctor no2 put me on 400 mg of avelox starting too feel better. Anaerobic gram negative bacilli invade as opportunistic pathogens thru a break in muccosa infections arise from the endogerously from themucosal flora this is one of the most aniboitic resistant species so i think that is why I get repeated infections of sinus. sammy |

| Thank you for all the kind words but I guess I was tired last night and my post didn't come out like it was supposed to. It wasn't supposed to be about me. I was just asking everyone to take a moment and pray or think about those thousands of other people around the world who are suffering and going through a hard time. They may or may not know what is happening to them or their family and it can be scary. I may have it pretty badly right now but I have support from you guys and I know that I will get better eventually. Without that, I'm not sure where I would be. I am tired of my weekly self pity tantrums and wanted to think of others for a change and be thankful for what I do have. |

| Funny I seemed to understand somthing totally different from this thread, It was not Meagan complaining of her issues but trying to say, we need to be a might bit more compashinate, so what happens after her post, fighting Meagan, be forwarned a call to calm can have no result other than water with a TWIST of lime, the lime sours the pure water. Meagan, I would now ask you if you could explain your original idea of this thread, so people can get back on topic. Was it compassion or ready...... set..... one your mark............ argue, please Meagan say it. |
