Thanks to all for the warm welcome. I have so many questions. There are so many theories about the cause of this. The frankenfood seems the most plausible. Is that the one most of you believe caused yours? Why won't doctors treat this? My doc is sending me to another doctor. He tried to send me to the Mayo, but they refused to treat me after it was suggested that I have Morgellons. How do you afford to pay for the supplements, all organic diets, etc.? Is there anything you can do about the brain fog? It is so difficult for me to think sometimes and that is so frightening. Is it caused from sleep deprivation or these things in my brain? Last question for now... Why does alcohol make them crazy? I have mounted slides and can see colored fibers with black things running through them. When I remove them, however, they appear translucent in water. I know this is a lot, but I figure you guys know a lot more than I do.

Too tired to address all your questions, but one. IMO alcohol is less tolerated in many of those who have morgellons because there is a parasite which burrows in the liver and its sister organ the gall bladder. Parasites like to go to organs which have large supplies of blood. Whether or not this will be a parasite in the traditional sense (an invertebrate animal) or one of a number of bacteria, virus or fungi when finally identified I feel that a lot of damage will been seen in this organ of the body. Of course this could effect individuals to a greater or lesser degree depending on age and strength of body constitution. It is also possible these parasites move around to different organs depending on the stages of their life cycle and the season of the body's organ system. Since no one so far has identified what this is or what is going on as far as life cycle, everything is one huge piece of guess work. I base my views on my understanding of traditional Chinese medicine and how the body works as seen in that tradition. I feel that drinking alcohol in any quantity is like playing with fire if there are symptoms of Morgellons. Just IMHO.

It is a lot of questions, lol. I agree w what TCM said above. One additional thing for you to start noticing is whether it is also in part related to the sugar and/or yeast content. If you notice the IMMEDIATE activity it makes me suspect the sugar. Additionally you could have sensitivities to other ingredients in your drinks as well. Well, you will have to experiment around to see what affects you. Sugar affects me so I cut it out and feel so much better. It sounds hard, but if you do it on days you are sick it is very easy. Then it feels better to stay off sugar.

We have different theories. I think it is more than one thing, but related to the GM food, and the AgroBac and pesticides - BTcotton in particular. I think these things combined have created some new type of THING that affects our DNA, similar to the polydnavirus that wasps give caterpillars.

In my personal observations I have come to the conclusion that everyone who is infected at some point had a blood borne vector that set the other thigns in motion. I noticed many were cut on sick trees and bushes, many were bitten, many have Lyme which suggests they may have been bitten. Even some who feel they got it from water, I suspect there may have been some type of bite, or other blood exposure.

But you can read all of our theories here. no one knows for SURE, although we may think we do. Supposedly in a test all ppl w M had agrobacterium in their blood, while those w/out M did not.

Well, that is my energy for answers today. lol

PS - I did not have as extreme brain fog as some... I think it is because I took SOOOO MANY high quality probiotics, enzymes, organic fiber, etc. It really helps. Plus doing detoxes at a safe rate.

There are many theories of what Morgellons is and at first I thought it was a parasite. After looking into it more I realized that it is a non-living thing. It has been proven by several scientists that it does not have a nucleus. It is more like a manmade virus and like typical viruses, it is a none living thing.
I am not trying to tell others what to think, I am only sharing my thinking and my approach towards recovery.

I know it is hard sometimes to afford quality food and supplements, however in the longer run you won't regret the investment you make towards your health. I have paid thousands to recover from Morg and within a short period of time I am almost recovered. The were no other options for me esp. knowing that the medical industry didn't have answers and were making things much worse by labeling patients with DOP.

I can drink a little wine or beer without issues. It was mostly stress that would intensify Morg symptoms with me.

I will have to go with Dr. Harvey on this, that for some people parasites are definitely involved in Morgellons. In my case, they were quite large and had a shape, form, and moved. There was no way to mistake what I and my family saw for a virus. So for some of us parasites are involved. I also had two identified re-activated viral infections and lyme was in the picture too. I feel that so far no one has identified what commonly infects us all. I believe that there will be something common to all of us and when (if) this is found there will still be a long way to go before anyone learns how to "cure" whatever this turns out to be. This common factor could be anything, including a blood parasite.

I am going to add that my theory is a combo of the two. I do think it is a virus and I do think we are infected w nanotechnology, but I also think the virus has mutated w parasites used in pesticides and that actual parasites are also a factor.

At first I had the nano-things, but I also had actual parasites. I THINK most or all of the parasites are gone now, but I think I still have some of the nanoparticles.

i was exposed to real parasites from South America just before I got sick so I wonder if that somehow combined w the M. I dont know. It is suepr complicated, whatever it is.

I was not implying that I drink a lot of alcohol. I have 1/2 glass of wine at night to help me sleep. I was referring to pouring rubbing alcohol on them. I see hopping translucent critters after I pull off the fibers. I probably shouldn't but I throw them in oil or in the toilet. I read somewhere that alcohol shows them for what they are, so I pour 91% in the water. They react immediately into string-like currents that cross the water trying to get away from the alcohol. Whatever I have, I continue to be bitten by. I would like to get my microscope and put some of the water under the microscope.
