Thanksgiving Traditions and Recipes Shaula koo mentioned an oyster stuffing recipe for Thanksgiving in another post.
Here's a place to share recipes and traditions.
I love mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green peas, cornbread stuffing, turkey & gravy, candied sweet potatoes, pecan pie... just got the munchies!
I'll have some recipes to share. Hope you all will too.
Starting in 1993 my best friend Cindy & I used to have a big Thanksgiving party for our friends that didn't have family... We had a blast. Around 10-20 people would show up for dinner (the first year we had 1/2 turkey breast and a duck)... We learned that many of our friends were alone for Thanksgiving. Soon the word got out and we had plenty of food. After dinner we would have a keg party and over 100 people would come over to celebrate! I was sooo happy when the Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Redskins (still am!)
I miss those days. My friend Cindy died 2 years ago, I miss her too.
Here's to a peaceful Thanksgiving and to traditions. We have many things to be thankful for, even if we have "Morgellons".
In the white light,
