Default Just So Tired Of It All

Does anyone ever get so tired; feeling like you are going to have this all your life and all your trials and attemts are in vain? Therefore leaving you feeling like not even trying anything anymore or worrying about how you wash your clothes?

I don't know how much more I can take. My husband says I am consumed with it but how can one not be? How can I just forget it when I can feel it and see what it is doing to my appearance? As well as worrying about what sheds from my body. This is the most horrific thing I have ever experienced and I am finding it so hard to take care of myself

Keeping the house clean is absolutely impossible for me. This has made my core muscles so weak as well as my neck muscles. I have a triple chin due to this biofilm or whatever it is. I look like an upside down L.

Hang in there, Posey...we are getting closer! One way or another, the truth will be found. In addition, so much good has come from this forum because of the people who have joined and offered ideas, research and remedies to each other, not to mention the comaraderie and collective purpose that helps our spirits/health.

Don't worry so much about keeping the house clean. You are the priority.

Hi Posey....Know what you feel like, I've had it 18yrs & feel as if I will be spotty in my coffin!! I was sure MMS was curing me but after 5 or 6weeks its stopped working like everything else, I'm back on C/silver, am in bed covered in E45 cream & wrapped in clingfilm, I look like an O.A.P. porn film star...Am sick to death of trying to rid myself of sores, I have to make sure I dont see myself when dressing, I dread going out as such a performance making sure I'm covered, now that summer is here I can't wear fingerless gloves so look like Micheal Jackson with 2 white bandages on hands...when will it end??...Spotted Dog...

Posey -

Just curious - it seems your husband is unaffected? Anyone else in your household? How long have you had this?
The inconsistencies with this thing are mind boggling. I hear stories of people who get it somehow, and infect the rest of the family in no time, then it goes to other households where there has been movement back & forth.
On the other hand I know 2 women who have had babies that are between 2 and 5 years old, and their babies do not have it (the mothers had Morgellons at the time of conception). One of them, even her husband doesn't have it. I know other married couples who have "normal relations" and only one is afflicted.
What the hell is going on????

SS,

I think it has to do with DNA. Only those of us with a specific dna will be affected. Maybe when certain pathogens have incorporated into dna which make it difficult to isolate and treat, it also has the receptor site for a particular new pathogen to take hold. Blood type is based on antigens and maybe we could see if husbands/wives/kids who are affected have the same blood type.

That's what I think anyway.

Yes, Kritts, it's IMO some kind of genetic code..special combination.

One case in particular involved a lot of people (4 households) of people who were not related, but friends that went back and forth, living with girlfriends/boyfriends. It quickly spread among all these people after starting with one woman who believes she got it from a client (she works with mentally handicapped people).
If it is a particular dna-code, it is a fairly common one.
There is someone else I communicate with who caught this, and thought it was birdmites. His parents (who aren't related to each other!) came over to help him clean up his environment and within days had it, too.
He is adopted.
Again, I know two women who had Morgellons and gave birth to unaffected babies. The kids are now 2 and 5, and still not affected.
I ask these kinds of questions a lot because I am trying to understand what commonalities there are. So far I have not seen any one thing that convinces me that "this is it", except possibly exposure to dirt.

I agree SS...I don't think there is any one thing either. I think it is the right combination of things as well as having an opportunistic time for it to take place. Aside from that, the family with birdmites passing it around is understandable.Birdmites aren't necessarily Morgellons vectors. The two unaffected babies of the woman with Morgellons could have inherited a slightly different dna. She could have things in her system which didn't get passed through the babies' immune systems. I'm not talking necessarily only blood type, since there are only so many types that are categorized. Some of us could have inherited congenital pathogen-influenced dna despite the blood type showing only the basic antigens they test for. People are walking around totally unaware that their bodies are harboring possibly dormant pathogens, such as viruses until something triggers it to come out and wreak havoc in ways we have no clue about as they create a morphed entity. This is just so complex and we are just laypersons who have inquisitive, intelligent minds who are trying to put it all together.

Sadsack, he says he is not affected, however, I am not sure of this. There are some people who are Kings and Queens of Denial and he just might be one.

Kids are all grown and gone. I do see the fibers on his clothes. He has been using dandruff shampoo for many many years now and a few years back he was trying different face lotions, which is something I couldn't see him being interested in unless something was going on.

When he was upset with me, telling me I am consumed with it (boy he got that right, my whole body is taken over), I told him he is a much stronger person than I am and then asked him how he deals with things in life. His answer: "If it is something I can't do anything about, I just say F_ _ _ it and go on."

Posey -
Not a bad philosophy for many things ("If it is something I can't do anything about, I just say F_ _ _ it and go on.")
But when something gets all consuming, we'll see how well that philosophy works for him.
I don't know, I guess if I had a "mild case" of Morgellons I'd try to ignore it, too. Right now it seems "mild", but it sure wasn't a couple of years ago. If it weren't so nightmarish I'd still maybe put it behind me, but I just can't forget or ignore it.
I'm sorry you don't have the kind of support you should have. That is such a big part of why this is so devastating.
