No, I haven't received any of those email from the Prez lately for some reason. I'll have to check my spam box and sign up again.

I've only been receiving a joke a day messages from Baraka and Michelle. Once in a while Malia and Sasha pass on their school art to me, but I can't open the attachments for some stupid reason.

If you have enough money and do want to pay for your own health care, no, that will not be allowed. This Orwellian care will not just involve end of life issues, but it will effect the quality of life during old age. Just anything too expensive will be denied to those who suddenly are expendable at age 65, whether or not it is a terminal issue. When society stoops this low you start having a totalitarian (communist, fascist) government which only cares about those in power. Anyone else, oh well, off with their heads. Ever notice that every now and then we have folks like Cromwell, Hitler, Mussolini, Kaiser Wilhelm, Lenin and Mao Tse-Tung, all cheerless men who hate to see anyone else enjoy life and be free, anyone but they themselves of course as they live (lavishly) at the expense of the very people they often willingly enslave and control for however short or long a time.

"The Treadmill and the Poor Law are in full vigour,

"Oh! I was afraid, from what you said at first,
that something had occurred to stop them in their
useful course," said Scrooge. "I'm very glad to
hear it."

"Under the impression that they scarcely furnish
Christian cheer of mind or body to the multitude,"
returned the gentleman, "a few of us are endeavouring
to raise a fund to buy the Poor some meat and drink,
and means of warmth. We choose this time, because
it is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt,
and Abundance rejoices. What shall I put you down
for?"

"Nothing!" Scrooge replied.

"You wish to be anonymous?"

"I wish to be left alone," said Scrooge. "Since you
ask me what I wish, gentlemen, that is my answer.
I don't make merry myself at Christmas and I can't
afford to make idle people merry. I help to support
the establishments I have mentioned--they cost
enough; and those who are badly off must go there."

"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."

"If they would rather die," said Scrooge, "they had
better do it, and decrease the surplus population.
Besides--excuse me--I don't know that."

"But you might know it," observed the gentleman.

"It's not my business," Scrooge returned. "It's
enough for a man to understand his own business, and
not to interfere with other people's. Mine occupies
me constantly. Good afternoon, gentlemen!"

Seeing clearly that it would be useless to pursue
their point, the gentlemen withdrew. Scrooge resumed
his labours with an improved opinion of himself,
and in a more facetious temper than was usual
with him.

I have to say, I am concerned about what you bring up, TC...and want to get to the bottom of it. If accurate (and my friend sent me that info last week) it needs to be brought to light of the general public.

But again...this didn't begin with Obama, and no matter who the President turned out to be, it would have been the same. the New World Order is responsible and has been for a very long time.

Really? You think? You mean you knew about this issue last week and didn't say anything about it before now?

This is for real and this is the way it is being written in the bill (I posted this on another thread, but it is from the link in my prior post here):

"On page 425, the Congress would make it mandatory, absolutely required that every five years, people in Medicare have a required counseling session that will tell them how to end their life sooner: how to decline nutrition, how to decline hydration, how to go into hospice care...and by the way, the bill expressly says that if you get sick, somewhere in that five year period, if you get a cancer diagnosis, for example, you have to go through that session, again....all to do what's in societies best interest, or your family's best interest and cut your life short...these are such sacred issues of life and death - government should have nothing to do with it".

LOL, nope, I have read some about all this earlier, but I did check my facts and so posted about the health care bill when I finally had some actual words to report (from the bill itself). I just wanted to watch you try to pretend you knew all about this already. Thus my comment and sure enough, by return post, there is was. It's fun to watch how you work.

The jury may be out for you, but on this and other issues being pushed by the Obama administration I have no doubt--that whatever is being presented is only in the best interest of Obama, the cronies, crooks and "socialists" he has partied with in Chicago and elsewhere. The name of the game? Control, money and power. I do go to some of my congressperson's information sessions on current legislation where facts are presented to voters about various bills. I have even heard a very prominent person from a well known think tank in D.C. talk about the rip off that is being christened cap n' trade, a bloated bill to ensure a way for those in the know and in power to pick your pockets legally, all the while claiming they are blameless. All this information came with some pretty convincing statistics and solid factual information. Not much time lately to sit on the porch and close my eyes.
