Hi, I am new here and would like to share some observations I have had recently using a blow dryer on lesions (and on "normal" looking skin). I have to heat them up really really hot, and the areas with the lesions start to BURN I mean really really BURN. Why? I think because I am MELTING the plastic. Now I know the fibers can't burn but why couldn't they melt? Has anyone else tried this? I have experienced a tremendous relief in the itching and inflammation. I have more after this....

Hi, Sarotha - Good job! I don't know why the lesions burn when you apply a hot blow-dryer - maybe that would happen with any "open wound"? I see you've done your homework and read Dr. Staninger's work. SS

Bugs are a living thing, therefore, they are subject to the elements as well. Which means, it is just a matter of finding out which element is the most detrimental to them, fire, water, air (air deprivation), earth including diatomaceous earth. Some fibers do burn, as well as the little hard bugs. I have not had any that did not burn. Another key may be to find what they are feeding off of.
