What's going right?

[Seasprite]

This morning while I was lying in bed

and was woken up by workmen demolishing
the apartment below me at 8am (I need 10+ hours of sleep)

I was struck by the number of thing that are going
wrong lately in my life.

(3 major health conditions, including this one, etc,
bad housing situation, no relationship, etc., lost a bag
on vacation that HAD ALL MY GOOD STUFF IN IT, journals,
camera stuff, etc, favorite clothes, important documents etc.)

I don't say "why me?" I do want to yell WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!???!!
though.

It's going to be tough because I can't say "well, at least I have my health
or at least i have a great place to live!"

I am going to try to write some of the things that are going right:

-My friend Amy says she loves me very much and is inspired by me in some way
-I have great nieces and nephews
-my sister has been helping me with my medicine schedule
-i have FANTASTIC new pill dispensers because I am taking pills 9x a day (this is probably the best thing on the list if you can believe it... )
-it is sunny today
-i like sending and receiving virtual flowers on another site, it totally cheers me up every day
-i got some really good pasta sauce that costs $8.99 on clearance for $2.00 (no additives etc.)
-my friend made me go out with her on Valentine's day to keep her out of trouble and she bought me a really nice appetizer and drink, very luxurious. I felt like a "real" person
-i went to church and got a free healing session (they do reiki every service)
-i reconnected with some old friends from college through a reunion site
-i am going to take a shower now for the first time in 3 days because I have been too tired to do so up to now.

With your attitude and outlook....with the things you appreciate....I would say you will be a survivor all the way.

Hey Carla,

would you like to visit New Mexico? We could switch places, kids and all!

I don't think I'd be a very good moderator though... but I imagine you might do pretty well at living in the mountains... away from the humidity and the big city.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, and Kritts, and Seasprite, & weredIgo, and everyone else here. This is the best family of friends and support I could ever imagine.
