No SS~ I agree that we ARE in hell already. But I wouldn't give a moment of worry about what that Doctor Laura shrink said if she couldn't just explain herself. Truth be told, you could probably teach HER a few things about life. Has she been dead? Rest my case. xo Kritts

Hi, I think about the saying the same way you all do. You THINK the grass is greener on the other side. Heck, in the end I don't know what she meant, but I always just had a weird feeling about it. I do know what you mean about the fear SS. Its overwhelming. I have never had something occupy my mind like this. This hits you where you live, this takes over your life, this gets UNDER YOUR SKIN. This trumps any fear I've ever had and why wouldn't it. Carla said one time about this being the most humiliating and soul stealing disease. You cannot escape it. The shame alone alters what you were or thought you were. I have lost my sense of security. I don't know what the future holds. I have my family and am grateful, but there are problems that this illness makes worse and I just can't shake the fear. I guess I'm just trying to say I understand. Claudia

Claudia - I could have written your post, all except for the family support part. Ditto on all the rest. They have their own (very serious) medical issues and family trauma. They don't need to think about the "crazy" sister. I am over a thousand miles from my nearest relative; makes it easier for them to forget I exist. It is so hard to even think about the future, much less visualize one. Yes, the grass is always greener....but I would have taken just about anything before this thing. I'm sure I wouldn't have been aware, if I had terminal cancer, that it could be worse without first hand experience with Morgellons. SS

Don't you see? This is why we have found each other in cyberspace. Because nothing else is available to us in the average Joe daily world that can comprehend our level of experience. Don't worry about your daily, reality people. Focus on this level instead. xoxo Kritts
