| Hi, Everyone, I did not know where to put this post, so I put it here. I hope that is OK. I am whitedove. I have not posted much, so you may not know me. I am terrified to travel! I have not traveled since I became ill with Morgellons. I need to spend two nights away fom home in a hotel. Please, someone, tell me what I need to know to travel with Morgellons. I have safe zones, everywhere else I do not go. I have not even sat on a sofa since I became ill. I am terrified of sleeping on a hotel bed, terrified I will "pick up" a new bug or worse!!! Has anyone here traveled and had any problems? Could you sleep? Did you pick up a bed bug and if so, are they hard to get rid of? Do they burrow under your skin and want to live in your body?? I heard on a news that hotels have an epidemic of Bed bugs!! Please let me know ASAP, I have to depart on Sat. I want to be prepared. Thank you all so much whitedove |

| Hi Whitedove! I remember you! If you are really worried about bed bugs...maybe you could buy a sheet of plastic to cover the mattress with. Have you reserved your room? Can you get a personal referral for a clean hotel/motel? Check out the ratings... I went to Austin for the Morgellons Convention back in March '08. We stayed in a motel and I felt "safe". If you are going on vacation I hope you have a terrific time and can leave your worries at home. It is a good sign that you are well enough to get out and experience life again. After you check in turn on some good music and do a little dance! Invite the good stuff back into your life and protect yourself with the "White light of the Holy Spirit". I hope your journey is successful. I can only imagine why you feel you have to travel and hope you aren't attending the funeral of a lost one. If this is this is the case, then I have a story to share. A dear friend of mine passed on last summer and the information she has sent me since her passing has been indescribable, enlightening and "heaven" sent. I talk too much. Enjoy your travels Whitedove. In the white light, ~jonsi

| Hi, Jonsi! Thank God, you answered my post. I was worried, waiting to hear from someone all this time! Thanks for remembering Me! I remember you too!! I am so glad to know you can travel and be OK. I do not want to go, but if I don't, my husband will be so angry. We have not gone anywhere since I became Ill, I mean like a vacation or a get-away. We used to go away often before the big M. He is getting really tired of staying home, but that is the only place I feel really safe. He wants to go to Cedar Point or the Christmas Village, whatever that is?? I bought vinyl zippered mattress and pillow covers, a polyester sleeping bag, and diatomacious earth to sprinkle on the carpet. I hope I won't get in trouble for that. Should I spray enzyme spray around and wait a while before hanging out in the room? What precautions did you take? Did you have any new symptoms after going? My Husband thinks if I can tolerate staying in a hotel room, then I will be able to go Florida this fall, his favorite place, my fearful place. I think my problem began by going to Florida, but he won't hear of it. There is no funeral (Praise The Lord!) I am so sorry to hear about you friend passing. Thanks for sharing the story. It sounds like you have some type of subliminal communication with your friend. That is a more true type of communication. It is very fortunate to have it when you cannot be with them any longer in the physical world. Thank you for the tips about calling the hotel ahead of our arrival. I am still afraid, but I feel better knowing that someone else has traveled and it did not cause any new sufferings. | Hi Whitedove, As soon as you get there ask if they could give the room a clean .Say you have an allergy to dust and they won't mind at all.Don't unpack till they have finished. You could use a natural insect repellent too. Try to enjoy yourself because you'll be ok. If you can stop worrying it will do you more good than harm. carla xxx |

| I sure can relate to all the feelings you are mentioning, but from what i have learned these past three years working with the blacklight and with sticky tape, i would say dont worry a bit....but take some tape. Target and walmart sell the big paint roller size tape (about $9). It is in the cleaning products area. This is a quick and fast way to capture fibers off furniture, sheets, clothes and skin! If the microscope God gave you when you were born....says a spot itches....just tape your skin off and repete this til the itch is gone. I have checked and rechecked the safety and success of this proceedure and it works great. You will be just fine, dont be afraid to feel confident again. nancy |

Hi, carla, Thanks for the tips. I didn't even know that we could request a repeat room clean. Boy, we do learn something new every day, don't we? The worry is less now, because you guys are helping me to feel safer while traveling. I will let you know how it goes. whitedove |

Hi, Nancy (chester) Thanks for the encouragement from all of you, you have no idea how much it helps. I have used small tape to see if something was there when I felt a sting, never used big tape though. That's a good idea. If I go over the seats with it, I will feel better about sitting on a surface. Maybe I will try that on my sofa too! whitedove |

| Dear Whitedove, Bedbugs should be our worst problem. C'mon girlfriend.....what is it you are worried about? Infecting others with Morgellons? We don't even know what it is. Infecting yourself worse? Define worse. Just bring some vodka and wipe down anything you might want to touch. Bring your own sheets and pillow cases, for your own peaceful sleepie nights. After you pull the disgusting bedspread and blanket off the bed, wash your hands. I did this before Morgs just because it was the right thing to do. Hotel rooms are disgusting....even the five star. financial status has no germicidal boundaries. DO NOT DRINK FROM THE CUPS THEY GIVE YOU AND DO NOT TOUCH YOUR BODY TO THE TOILET. MOST OF ALL.... DO NOT LET YOUR HUSBAND KNOW WHAT A FREAKIZOID YOU ARE. He sounds like a decent and tolerant man....good deal. Good luck. Bon Voyage. Kritters |

| Kritters!!! What are trying to do?, girlfriend!! Scare Whitedove? Go ahead and sit on the toilet, they have a paper strap they put around the toilet seat after they clean the toilet. I'd drink some vodka too! Just for laughs! Pack lightly, I always over pack. Relax and say your prayers out loud knowing that the white light will always protect you from the dark. Carla gave some good suggestions: As soon as you get there ask if they could give the room a clean .Say you have an allergy to dust and they won't mind at all. Don't unpack till they have finished. You could use a natural insect repellent too. I'd suggest "Bug-Arrest". But if you are flying to your destination remember that they won't let you carry on more than 4 oz of any liquid. Don't dilute it until you get to your hotel. Have a great time and I want you to leave your worries behind. We need to start enjoying and experiencing life again. In the white light, ~jonsi

Thanks Kritters, for your response. ...OUCH!...OUCH!....OUCH! OK I am better, now First of all my hubby already knows I am a "freakazoid" NUT I am worried about giving it to others and picking up new "kritters", no pun intended, hee, hee, ( shame on me) Definition of WORSE: is what I was like when I first got the big M. I lost about 45 pounds in three months, I shook like someone being electrified, I ran through the house like a stark raving mad nut case on mega doses of caffeine, I couldn't sleep but a couple hours at a time after I was totally exhausted, I spent hours in the mirror "looking for a bug" that was biting me and I couldn't find it! Do you really want me to continue? Anyway, I don't want to go back there again, ever! I don't have Vodka, but I have Rubbing Alcohol, a lot cheaper. Will it work like Vodka? Tossing all the bedding and sleeping on my own stuff is a good idea, thanks. Bringing my own cups is a good too. I saw the report on TV, YUCK!! BTW...You didn't hurt my feelings............................much, ha ha ha Good luck to you, too, Kiddo whitedove |
