Why in the world would anyone want or need to revive a three year old thread about inmates with scabies? The only legitimate reason I can think of is if you had updated info on these particular inmates or this facility, which both are irrelevant to this board, if you wanted to post more info on scabies then start a new thread. Like it or not this is the way forums work, threads are born and then they die, that's the nature of the beast.

Am I allowed to reply Skylark?
I 'll repeat what steve said and add that no one here believes we have mutant scabies anymore.
That went out with the DOP.

Where do these hundreds of people contact you?

1. I would like to request that admin re-open or unlock it.

2. If it is policy for threads to be locked or closed after a certain date, can we expect that all threads past a certain expiry date also will be locked or closed?

3. And would you please let members know of that cut-off time, please?

Thank you.

And actually, we do now have "mutant" scabies and lice. More accurately, they are now mostly resistant to the historical treatments available to us for the past one or two decades.
>>dear sky,....I understand the point,...folk's can still read what is there,...the post is locked,..but not unseen,,,....possibly a new post is needed ,....would you like to start it??,...all that happened's here is with good reason,....Sincerely: xoxo Doc

There are a plethora of posts made by members under the Admin/Suggestions/Website Request/ section. I do not think it is forbidden for anyone to answer threads posted here.

I wonder why your request about locking/unlocking a particular thread was not sent to Franky or Carla directly if you wanted no responses or comments made here by other members?

Doc has been bringing up old threads without rhyme or reason along with other extraneous posting lately. He had been asked to cease, but continued to do it despite more than one request by various people. I don't feel locking a small thread which had nothing much to do with any current topic was inappropriate, but that is just IMHO.

Doc had already started a new thread yesterday (may 29) on "Supper[sic]Head Lice." Adding this same discussion to a three year old single post by Franky seems very strange indeed. Franky's one post discussed scabies in a small prison population. If a new discussion was desired on scabies it could have easily been added to the newest thread doc had started on lice or a link to Franky's thread added to a new post on doc's "Supper[sic]Head Lice" thread along with perhaps a discussion to somehow tie it all together. Otherwise is all gets

Default Maybe we can train them to eat

It has been suggested to me that another person has ingested a easy to kill parasite to kill one that there is no cure for, except this other hungry little worm that eats them right up, the man said that after taking this he actually had a worm come out of his sye lid, BUT he is well now. Imagine that Cootie club,

A worm that eats the worm that will not be killed by doctor drugs but the worm that eats the worm that can't be killed by doctor drugs can be eradicated by doctor drugs!!!!

this is intended to be a question to ADMINISTRATION regards how the forum works and relevant posting rules.
And a useful suggestion put to me by the hundreds of people writing to me every month asking for help.

If I had wanted YOUR opinion, Steve Frey, I would have asked YOU for it.

I would like to add a rule respect all members don't be quick to judge after all everyone is welcome.

Well, as long as we are adding rules here after quite some time has passed (a little over five months) since anyone posted on this thread, how about trying not to bring up old threads where folks were not getting along that well. It seems as if it would be best to let sleeping dogs lie here and not bring that all back up again. And respectful too.
