Search Suggestion

The web site's search function rejected my search for the word "eye" and rejected the word in a search for "eye" and "treatment" because:
"The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : eye"

Since Morgellon's so often affects the eye, I suggest that the search function be revised to include "eye" and "eyes" or changed so that it doesn't reject every three letter words.

I went to search for eye and understand your frustration.

Maybe you could define your search to vision, eyelid, eyebrow, eyelash; along with redness, fibers, pain, lesion; and so on. Try to be more descriptive of what you are looking for and "see" what comes up.

Thanks for your reply. I ran into the same problem when searching for MMS when trying to find out what it was and how people liked it after reading about it online.

Your workaround suggestions are good ones, and there are always workarounds for computer programming limitations. But I've never run across this limitation, usually it's specific words, such as "the" "in" or "of" and you can usually override that by putting your search terms in quotes.

Anyway, I understand that it may not be worth the time and money to change this or rethink the decision, and it's a minor and occasional problem on this extremely helpful site for which I am very greatful. But, if reprogramming occasionally done, please consider my suggestion.

You have to do your searching from the home page. I searched 'eye' and a ton of posts came up.
