Strictly Morgellons or Morgellons/General Too?

Hello everyone, sorry for the bother but this is somewhat important for our site's future direction. I have received requests on the boards and privately for some more general boards to be added.

I am making a poll here to see what direction everyone would prefer to go with. Do you want to keep this strictly Morgellons super focused or do you want to add more general social/community features and feel as well?

This site's main focus will always be about morgellons, but the other focus would be about morgellons and general living, problems life etc.... but of course focused among morgellons people. Hope I am making sense here!

You are making sense to me. Daily conversation can be annoying when one takes the time to check out the latest post only to see a personal message.

But on the other hand, this is what kinda endears me to my fellow Morgellonites. It just can't be all clinical because we are so human and this is why we were attracted to this forum to begin with. Real people. Not clinicians.

Kritters I hear you, but I am researching the options. Trust me its not that easy. The thing is, when I bought the new software for the site, it was just upgraded to 3.1.0. Thats why we had and still have some minor problems. This is normal when software gets upgraded and used until it gets stable.

New features were added to the forum software from the makers. So what that means is the people who make plug-ins and stuff like adding exta features have to catch up to the new version. So be a little patient, I will be finding something soon, I hope.

Yes, I agree... mostly Morgellons and associated problems, ie Lyme Disease etc and a little chit chat to keep it from getting too heavy.. Hilly x

Whatever way we go we need to be able to keep offering support to people.It should be the main part of it.
Especially now we're at the top of any google list.
There s no other site offering support.( unless you order silver from them)

You've built a range of great areas on here, from morg related, health related, general discussion areas, a place to chilllax, a social site, a place to rant, whatever.

Maybe all it takes is for people to use these other places more?

I agree with Carla, that support for sufferers should remain priority, along with research - afterall, it is these things that have brought us together in the first place.

I'm with Jonsi - to leave as is, and add more functions to aid collaboration...just like you are already. I havent voted because this site isnt just morgellons now, so I didnt know what to press.

Franky, I would have to agree with Jo and Jonsi. I really don't know which one to vote on either. Is one of the choices you have on the poll the same as leaving it as it is? If it is let me know which one that is please.
