Strictly Morgellons or Morgellons/General Too?

That's it. This is so injurious to the spirit I don't see how we could ignore it. Also, it costs us our jobs, relationships, health, so there is no separating if from our lives. I'd like to see the focus kept on Morgellons, with a generous dose of humanity, which is already in place, really. We can always search when we want to review technical info...it won't get lost in the shuffle.

katiejill welcome to the site! You kind of hit on the head with your post for me. Morgellons causes so much distress with all things in your life, you really cant separate the two. That's the whole point I meant about being a bit social as well, discussing morgellons and impacts morgellons has on your daily lives.

You know, when I go to work every day (for the last17 years) I try to hide my sores--(makeup, long sleves, long pants). But, there's the glance from a co-worker who notices some sores, and that moment when you pull down your sleeve--it's crushing. You feel contageous--like you should explain that it's this "skin condition". It's hard on the head.

We all are really brave to be hanging in there while the world tries to figure it out for us. We want people to know--but we don't want people to know. It's a very hard thing we are going through. Because, frankly, I sound nuts to me, LOL. But I know I'm not, and that's hard to live with.

But the good news is, I've had it for 17 years, and it hasn't killed me yet! So, the quality of life is there as long as I insist it is!

They will figure this out. All of you--hang on. We will beat this strange, scary, frightening thing. I promise.

Loved your post and attitude. I sure know what you mean about sounding nuts but knowing you're not. What a horribly lonely place to be.
It's also good to know that we can keep on keeping on and try to glean whatever we can from life despite this nightmare.
