I like facebook!!! I know everyone that I have befriended & don't post anything that could be used against me.

I learn about local parties & events, friend's bdays, etc.

So... just like everything else on the internet, ya have to be careful & take responsibility.

had to cancel all my facebook accts, somebody kept hacking into it and sending vrap to my friends in my name. dont know if it got started with my facbook acct or my hotmail, but both in that name were hijacked.

janedoe, that sucks... I don't get why ppl would do that.

I don't purchase anything on the internet & maybe that's why no one has hacked me. I change/cancel out my debit card every few months & get a new one.

Hi!

When this site was "on hold" I got busy on face book. It is a lot of fun and I can post what is going on in my life and share with others. There are Monsanto updates and other great info.

There are a lot of MDR members on face book. I hope I don't get in trouble by posting this, but it is fun to see our friend's pictures & interests & their friends pics on face book. Maybe I'll see you there. PM me.

Jonsi, You give many of us hope we can see the light also. I now understand after one year of taking every medication and seeing every doctor in the universe that you can only get well from within I thought I was dealing with a lice infestation but now know it prob started there and its comes from within. The prob now is my eyes bright lights and spider webs in them. your voice has a calming effect as it did 30 yrs ago.. You need too join the doup concert at wolf trap that would be awesome too see you agian. Sammy

I read an article a couple of weeks ago that Brittany may have died from a fungal infection in her lungs. Her husband died a few months after her, and it looks like he died from the same thing (pneumonia).

I like facebook but can see how it sometimes ruins relationships and marriages. One of our friends wound up hooking up with a guy she knew in high school who became her friend on facebook. Falling for someone totally made her forget she was married and had three kids, and boy have they taken in hard. I notice a lot of my friends becoming friends with ex boyfriend/girlfriend/fiances...and I wonder why, what good could come of that? In some cases its nice though. I had an ex friend me (but we had never been that serious)....he was my first boyfriend and he totally broke my heart....didn't even have the decency to break it off, he just avoided me at work which was fine, I could take a hint, the first minute he gave me the cold shoulder I figured it was over and left it at that. Anyway I got a friend request from him and he is just figuring out what to do with his life now at 38, has two kids that he won't account for (he forgot he told me he had kids when I ran into him...he said he doesn't have kids and doesn't want them) is on his third marriage with a woman who could pass for his mother. I only wish I had a time machine to go back to the 16 year old me bawling in the bathroom to tell myself what a loser he would turn into LOL.
