I have completely lost respect for most doctors after seeing the lack of competence and intelligence in handling this illness. I don't want to relate the whole scenario right now because it would be pointless and, from what I read, most of you have had similar experiences. Now, suddenly, a doctor from my church wants to come to my home and "evaluate" me. I really think they must be assuming I am mentally ill. It is hard to knwo what to believe tho. Supposedly, someone from church saw me at the store and could see how much I have changed and how different I look. Reportedly, he said how "ill" I look. I just don't know what to believe. And I am so tired of reading all the news stories and blogs trashing us, I just don't know if I want to trust this person. Two ppl would come to my house and expect me to tell all the details. These are ppl who have not acted trustworthy toward me since I became ill... at least they did not offer help at first when I was so scared and desperate. Now they suddenly want to help me. I dont know what to think or what to do. But I do not want to set myself up to be shot down. Last edited by fracty; February 15th, 2010 at 01:10 AM.

Let me add, I know this doctor and think he is a nice guy. He does not remember me tho, since I have not been there for so long. But overall, the ppl at church I first went to for help were not helpful. I did not use the word M (u know what) at first, but I do not know if I know what to let them in on all the details when they did not seem trustworthy before.

Hey Fractilicious! (Hey Jonsi!) I know there are some good MSM (mainstream meds) that have tried to help us. The Powers That Be seem to shut them down just for trying to help us. I spoke to an RN in FL who took evidence to the CDC, they refused to see her. She is a WARRIOR! But MSM needs to see that all to understand the corruption that has slithered into their AMA mistraining. Any doc knows their continuing ed classes can be bought and paid for by Big Pharma. I dated a doc that taught CE w/a partner - they made $50K each in one day for taking on 1 Big Pharma co as a client. He agreed to keep that money sep./NEVER spend it on me or even give that biz venture up, but I couldn't think of him in the same light again... See if he can isolate my fave gram-negative GM bacteria or whatever you think the Cause is, first. If he comes to you as a doc, aren't you under the confidentiality rule? Arm yourself w/the facts. #'s of us, all the websites. I'd have a typed list of symptoms by date and def. don't show him any Ziploc Bags! There are MSM that want to help us and that have been fighting for us. The links to those articles seem to also vanish, but they're out there. * If he's gonna TRY to help ya and he's a nice guy: better warn him he might get audited for his efforts.* Keep us 'posted', there's always HOPE for every aspect of this!!!
