| I just received a message that a protest is being planned for late summer/early fall in Atlanta, GA, CDC headquarters. I don't have any other details at this time but I will post as they become available. I am guessing that much will depend on what, if anything, the CDC has to say. I would think if nothing has come forth from their study by then - or if something comes out that clearly ignores the scientific evidence - then we will definitely be marching. SS |

| Give Heads Up: You might want to remind them in advance that if a march occurs, Morgys will be using their restaurants, bathrooms, hotels, etc, and be very much a part of the community life at that time. If they might feel a hint of concern that this is contagious, they may want to tell the truth and begin brainstorming now. They may realize they be personally affected. Illness doesn't discriminate. | I said this a long time ago the best thing is to organise a demo. It's the only thing Govt listens to as it embarrasses them and also the public become aware of what is going on. Govt are happy whilst people keep a low profile and do nothing whilst they keep putting off the results of investigations.I suppose they think with morgs people would be too shy to show themselves.

| Too shy and too SICK, maybe too broke to get to Atlanta. Btw, there was a rally, coordinated by Kelly P., in front of the CDC in 2007. She is also organizing this one. Hey - I just got an idea! How about if we coordinate "hubs" around the country - maybe other countries as well! Have them all occur on the same day, kind of like the "Tea Bag" thingie yesterday? That way some people who would not be able to travel to Atlanta could still contribute....AND CAN YOU IMAGINE THE MEDIA COVERAGE?!? SS |

| Hi SS, I was just talking to someone about this very challenge--it is cost prohibitive for many of us, not to mention that many of us are too sick to travel. To stage a local protest on the same day might be a way around it...we need to find out about others who may be suffering right in our own neighborhoods. I am thinking of putting out flyers to local health food stores and/or on bulletin boards and leave an anonymous email address for them to contact me. Here is an idea that I think has been thrown around before...a rep from each state. We could all write in here to poll where we live, then decide on one person from each state to take on the task of somehow finding out who is in our area...I am from Alexandria Virginia and I just met a nurse from Maryland who is suffering from this too. Maybe if we all brainstormed on this..? The other day, my daughter and I wrote on a helium balloon [given with an easter present] and let the balloon sail away...on the balloon I had written this anonymous email acct and asked if they had any of these symptoms to contact me... we had a good laugh about getting the news out there this way...lol pdidit |

| That is great news! I do agree that there need to be hubs around the US (like major cities im 20min from Chicago)! I could get there but could never afford to get to Atlanta! This disease has bankrupted me! Maybe with all these flying critters I have jump on and off me ill eventually sprout my own wings and be able to get there, lol! wannadie (But not today) Last edited by wannadie; April 20th, 2009 at 12:15 AM.
