God-Dam Money Hungry Corporations!

Its always seems to happen around this time here in America. Big money hungry America corporations announcing the firings of thousands of jobs right before the holidays!

As if, losing your source of income wasn't enough, you have to lose it right before thanksgiving, Hanuka and Christmas. It is truly sad and as always its the little man who has to suffer for the fat cats. Just kind of makes me sick, thinking of all the people who will suffer, just so some idiot will have a extra million in his bank account.

A couple of companies here in the USA just announced the releases of thousands of employees form various companies. Happy holidays, yeah right. Ok rant over for now.

According to the Bible god has a name, there have been many so called gods and they have all had names, The god of Moses had the name YAHWEY, most people that confirm to know the testament, have not read the book. You are right Franky, there is no lack of people that need food, cloths, cars, homes, so how in the world does industry fail, its planned, it is because of our greedy handlers, the scum corporations. If the people revolting in this world would place the blame on the people responsable, CORPORATIONS and there stooges (POLITITIANS) it would take very little revolt to rid the world of these parasites. Isn't it really strange that the so called terrorists are killing POOR people. Getting results in this manner is like trying to grow palm trees at the north pole or throwing snow balls in hell. I have always said the biggest, most vile, greedy criminal always wears a smile, suit and tie.

I would have to agree with you there. Besides cuting jobs, To make matters worse, they are even cutting funding for research now.

i do know what'cha mean, Franky, my job cut my hours in half a month ago and i'm not makin it. by Dec 1 i will be completely in the hole and covered up. no phone, no auto, nothing since i can't pay for any of it. it hurts and its not fair, especially when you have people dependin on you for financial support.

Yeah what REALLY makes me sick, really sick is that my husband I shall divorce soon makes 1k a week or more and will not even see fit to send me 100 dollars a week. I am fortunate that my family is so cool. Otherwise I do not know what I would do. Of course TN law and my medical history (which is extensive) might have a different perspective on my soon to be exes' obligations. 3-4 of my medical conditions ARE recognized now as being debilitating.


Last night I talked with my friend from the UK the architect who does alot of corporate and site work. They have to lay off 52 people in January or February. Sad indeed.

The casinos near here currently have a hiring freeze. People cannot spend money on fun when they barely have the resources to eat. The power company here is not above charging 3k when people get behind. All for greed, they do not care if the elderly freeze to death.


Here with the utilities I usually sleep in an ice berg room at night, my only luxury a heating pad. I often boil water to take a hot bath to warm up. The sad part is we are one of the LUCKIER families.


Places like AIG who throw 2 half million dollar parties with 500 dollar bottles of wine make me sick. They are loaned OUR money and waste it. Then to make matters worse, they have a tight string on their purse regarding borrowers. Greed is the worst sin of all.

Oh and for reference Franky said "dam" like Hoover Dam and not the curse word. The "n" is missing. I could say bleepin' bureaucrats on their cellulite behinds. Either that or vultures with golden bibs dining on the carcases common people.

I am so sorry to hear that Brenda! Its truly sad, to hear story's like this all over the place. You are in my prayers and we can only hope that things will pick up. How are things going in Florida right now, around your parts, very bad?

It really is awful LC, to hear that! Thank god you have family to help you through these hard times. And yes it makes me sick to see these corporations (not all, just the guilty ones) have parties and million dollar bonuses given to each other after cutting thousands of jobs and hours from the so called "little man"!

Well, I also feel that the large expensive parties after the inauguration of the latest president will be excessively lavish and costly as well to the taxpayers in hard economic times such as these. Is government really sensitive to the little man ever? Especially since this is the power behind all those bad loans, for in essence they forced banks to make risky loans to many people who had no ability to repay them. Now these bad loans are coming home to roost and those in power seem to be figuring out ways to take from those who have saved to give to those who have spent beyond their means.
