| The reason we are not getting the proper treatment is because parasitic infections are said to be only in third world countries but unfortunately this is no longer the truth. yet it still isn't even considered by the majority of practitioners so we will continue to self treat until a miracle happens! yet there are cases that prove it is here. In 1919,in the course of a hookworm survey of U.S.Army personnel stationed in Kofoid,Texas a strange nematode in 429 of 140,00 fecal samples.they described this new nematode as Oxyuris incognita and at first they thought it was a parasite of humans.it is now known that this nematode was the Root knot nematode,Meloidogyne incognita and supposedly the soldiers contracted this by ingesting it. There are also reports by military DRS in the last century that describe the phosphoresence of wounds which we all know could be caused by nematodes also! just something of interest i thought! Robin Sorry i cannot find the article i saved on this i ran across this in one of my notebooks |

| Thank You! Cynical It was interesting i'm curious if they ever did a follow up on those men. i wish i could get my doctor to work with me and check my fecal matter(pretty nasty isn't it?) unfortunately i have to stay with my dr i've been with him since i was a teenager he believes something weird is going on with me although i'm much better than i was its just his options are pretty limited due to my insurance i suppose. and he refuses to prescribe an anti-parasitic med which i would gladly take.one of these days i will buy a really good cleanse for me and my children but i want us to do it together to hopefully ward off being reinfected. its pretty costly to do so right now! Thanks again Cyn Robin |

| Could you look online for a prescription without a doctor's script? I would take Stromectol... took it for a long time. Probably did help some. That is routinely prescribed for pinworms. Just a thought. Insurance would not pay, but if you can't get a doctor's help, sometimes we have to go elsewhere. |

| Robin, You simply have to ask the doctor to order tests from one of the labs that test this or go to a doc that knows what to do--holistic or integrative medicine. I had the whole battery done. It showed that I had absolutely NO (not yelling just emphasis) good bacteria in my GI tract. The springtails that are driving me insane did not show up. Some people have more luck than I did. My blood work however did show things. I have systemic yeast, (already diagnosed with leaky gut syndrome), and I have a compromised immune system. My doctor is fabulous and knows what M is and is treating the symptoms. She wants me to go to a rheumotologist soon as well. BTW, the army used to purposely give diseases to soldiers. Who knows about this one ![]() Quote:

| Hi Robin, I am not sure if there was a follow up on the army men I have not had time to look further into the article. I would suggest what the others below have. Try a good cleanse first You can find these at any whole foods store or health store. Wormwood blackwalnut and clove are also good. Can also be found at your local health food store maybe cheaper online if you search. Then maybe follow up with pinx or something over the counter before spending too much on things you have to either get from your doctor or buy online. I had good results with pranzequantel. not sure spelled correctly. I myself have not tried pinx yet but was thinking about trying it during the next full moon phase. Good luck and I hope you find some relief soon. Cyn ![]()

| Hi Robin, one thing I have added lately to the herbs I have currently which are prescribed is some black walnut capsules from my local Western herb shop. This woman knows all her sources so the quality of her herbs is exceptional. Anyway, this herb can treat both inside and outside the body. The leaves as well as the hulls are used. It just depends on what you are trying to treat and how it has been observed over time to help the body. I have seen a lot of the parasites breaking out of my skin as a result of adding these capsules, but I think this is good. Personally I want them out so they cannot cause lesions, at least large ones. Some use black walnut internally along with wormwood and cloves, usually found in tinctures. It's the classic formula suggested by Hulda Clark. Here's an old post which you may like to read. You will see just how potent black walnut can be for skin issues, both inside and out. Hurtin' has discussed black walnut too and even has access to some trees where he is. His post is on this thread too. Hurtin, how's that tincture you are making coming along?: Worms in Brain and elsewhere (permalink 24) Black walnut a valuable tree for food and medicine "In Maria Treben’s book, Health Through God’s Pharmacy, she claims that a tea of black walnut leaves cleanses the blood and is an effective remedy for all intestinal disorders, as well as for a lack of appetite. Treben says it has also been used successfully in the treatment of jaundice and diabetes. She recommends making a decoction (concentrated tea) of black walnut leaves to treat cradle-cap, dandruff, and "scruff" (scabby, scale-like deposits on the skin.) This same decoction is also an excellent remedy for head lice. She uses this same decoction for inflammation of the gums, throat and larynx. One of her uses for black walnut that I hadn’t heard elsewhere was as a blood thinner. If you or anyone you know is being prescribed Coumadin, Jantoven, Marevan, Waran or a similar warfarin-based blood thinner, you may want switch from coffee in the morning to black walnut leaf tea—and drink more water! In case you didn’t know, warfarin was originally marketed as a pesticide for rats and mice and works as an anti-coagulant by interfering with your body’s ability to assimilate vitamin K. If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to improve your health, black walnut leaf tea is a pleasant tasting, robust tea with numerous benefits. Adding chamomile and mint leaves makes it an even more pleasant tasting tea. Bon Appetite!" Quote:
