My daughter was diagnosed a week ago with Threadworms. She obviously had a very advanced case so we don't know how long she had them. We live in the Northwest of the U.S.A.. They are absolutely something that is not common to this part of the country. They usually thrive in warm climates. She went to the East Coast a few weeks ago. This is the only thing we can think of that was unsual. Now I have them! She had them so bad that you could see the worms crawling under her skin. The worms were 5-6 inches long. This is the worst thing we have ever had. It has nothing to do with hygene! They supposedly enter through the feet. Her diagnosis was Threadworms. They are extremely tiny and very hard to see without the aid of a magnifying glass. I totally believe that Morgellans is a real disease! It could even be the Threadworm nesting in your skin! Do not under any circumstances take no for an answer when you go to the doctor especially if you are from the Northwest! We got lucky and just happen to get a Doctor that was knowledgable about these Parasites! The first doctor she saw in the Urgent Care they had where she went thought it was in her head! I am her mother and I called the hospital the next day and I got heads spinning and made that hospital take her seriously! I, myself, can not find a doctor in Eugene, Oregon who has ever heard of, let alone see these worms! Yes, they are worms that crawl under you skin! So many of you who think this may be in your head and have fought to find a cure need to see if this is what you may have! They are very real! As adults they look like Cornsilk. But they are very large at this size! You can't miss them when they get to the adult stage! Buy what we don't know, is how long you can have this crawly feeling before they become adults. I still have the crawling feeling and I have been on Vermox for 2 days. If you have any teeny red spots that look like flea bites you may very well have these. They are tiny red spots, my guess is they look like measles. Also you can see the points of entry in these spots. There will he a tiny whole in the middle. You can have points of entry that don't have the red spot but will look like you have been poked with a pin. This is where I am right now. I have maybe 100-200 of these little holes on my legs, arms and face. They can make you very anemic, this is another symptom. We could have had these for a long time, we don't know, all we know is that we have them! I am a very persistant person and I don't take no for an answer! If you have any of these symptoms you shouldn't either! They won't kill you but they can make you very sick! If they are sucking on your blood they are also excreting their own fecal matter! This can't be good for you, I would think this to be a toxic thing to have in your body too! So I have given you a reason to suspect that you may all really have something real to investigate. If they look at you like you are crazy, tell them you talked to somebody who has them on the internet! You will have to fight hard to get your point across, we did! I can't stress enough though that if you have these symptoms that you may be suffering from the same thing we have. Oh, they also itch! You would think it to be a common flea bite! It's not in my case, it is a Threadworm! I hope I can't help at least a few of you on this board. I think you can email me through this post. Feel free to email me, I check mine every few days. I will try to help as much as I can! I may not be able to help all of you, but I am hoping I can help some of you get to the bottom of this disease/infestation! You have to be treated with anibiotics, like I said I am taking Vermox. You also have to disinfect your house! They are like head lice, they don't care who you are or where you're from! They can attach themselves to anyone!

There certainly is a big resemblance of these worms and Morgellons, at least to some of the symptoms in some of the people. If these were the ONLY symptoms, then that would be a good bet. But things like black specks, glitter, fibers of various colors, lesions, are all symptoms. Here's a good link: All About Worms The thread worm, or threadworm, is the most common of human parasites. Thread worms are scientifically known as Enterobius vermicularis, but are also commonly referred to as pinworms and seatworms. This species does not transmit to or from animals, although pets can harbor eggs in the fur. They get their names from a resemblance to cotton threads, which are visible to the naked eye. Threadworms can affect any age but are most prevalent in children, who may inadvertently transfer the eggs after scratching. They thrive in dust and can be inhaled. These worms can be visibly identified in a bowel movement ![]() . They’re also easily spotted with a flashlight when the anal area is inspected at bedtime. Humans rarely become ill from threadworm but may suffer intense itching around the anal area, especially at night. This can lead to interrupted sleep. In worst cases, urinary tract infections can develop and females are susceptible to vaginitis. Secondary infections can occur, too, if a child or adult scratches the area. A child may suddenly begin bed-wetting as well. This can be due to threadworm irritation in the urethra. While it is assumed that the spread among children is related to less concern for hygiene, thread worms can progress rapidly among adults. The entire family should be treated when one is infected. And lack of personal cleanliness is not the precise reason behind contracting threadworm. Contact with an infected person or touching a surface the person has come in contact with will cause a rapid spread. Thread worms can survive on toilet seats, in clothing, and even in swimming pools. Once the egg is consumed or inhaled, it travels to the small intestine and hatches. As larvae, the threadworms navigate into the large intestine, grow into adults, and mate. The male then dies, while the female lives on for about eight weeks. When she is ready to lay eggs, the female threadworm moves to the outer anal area. One adult can produce about 10,000 eggs at one time. She dies and the eggs begin the cycle again. The itchiness comes from a sticky coating on the egg sac. When the coating dries, the eggs can become airborne. The eggs are light and float along with dust particles. Reinfestation can also occur. If the eggs remain intact on their host until hatching, they will return to the large intestine to reach the adult stage. Of course, handwashing is essential for everyone, but especially so for those with thread worm. Fingernails should be scrubbed underneath and kept short. Over the counter treatments are readily available and typically resolve the problem within ten days. However, young children should visit a physician for diagnosis. Other precautions include no sharing of belongings or food, daily morning showers, and a nightly change of underwear and sleepwear. Clean bedding regularly and dust daily, if possible. Vacuum carpets thoroughly and keep baseboards clear. Thread worms remain the most common human parasitic infection, but one that is easily treated. SS

Hello Hurtin and SS, I also have the threadworms and my kids do also! but with every parasitic nematode infection there is usually more than one type of nematode wreaking havoc with all of the foriegn type nematodes that where introduced into the soil over the last 40 or so years i believe they created a huge shift in the earth and took away natural food resources for them and this made them search for alternate food sources(us). you are very fortunate to receive a diagnosis.let us know how long it takes to clear with the meds.if we have this as long as i think most of us have it will take years of antiparasitic meds to overcome them. XO Robin

Robin - Pinworms aka threadworms are the most common parasite infection in the U.S. So common, in fact, that Walgreens sells an OTC remedy for it. I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't an occasional component of Morgellons (like so many other hitchhikers with this mess), but pinworms are NOT Morgellons. Most people who have pinworms have just that and nothing else. They are easily treated (if you don't have Morgellons). SS

Hi SS, your right they are very common,if you can get a diagnosis from a dr.what if they have never tested us for them for years and years we would have a very long standing infection.then were screwed! i don't think these are the threadworms of old.evolution my dear watson!especially if they found a better hiding space one that goes undetected for say 20 to 4o years.think of the massive infection that would entail! Threadworms: also known as Pinworms, Strongyloides stercoralis xo Robin

Robin - I definitely think people should have an O & P to determine whether they have treatable pararsites, and if they do, go ahead and treat them. Problem is that if Morgellons (whatever that is) is present it will be very difficult to eradicate known parasites (like the people who have both bird mites and Morgellons, or Scabies and Morgellons, etc). And even if they do manage to get rid of the parasite, they are still left with Morgellons. Moreover, for whatever reasons, even when someone with Morgellons gets scabies, etc, they are very hard to eradicate. Why? Who knows - have these "normal" parasites been transformed in some way? Do they have Morgellons, too?? SS

"Who knows - have these "normal" parasites been transformed in some way? Do they have Morgellons, too??" Alo ha, This is a good question which has me very concerned. I have found that dust mites become crytal morg mites, which seem more morg than insect. And fresh chiles which had morgs on the crown also seemed to be made more of morg material than natural vege material. I am not an expert, but the white crown inside the chile seemed more like a plastic or polymer. Could this be the product of genetic modification, or morg mimicking the structure? Are GM modified foods flavored polymers? If so, we are in a lot of trouble, unless eating plastic is healthy. Bill

Morgellons has now been revealed to be an implant disease by a dear friend of mine who is a Prophet. Those who suspect that morgellons is 'man made' are indeed close to the truth. This astounding morgellons prophecy from Linda Newkirk can be viewed at prophecies.org This very important revelation was just posted on Oct 13/09 and can be found in Chapter 59 of Book 12! Remember friends, your mind is like a flower, before it can bloom, it has to open!

These are her comments: My Blessed Child, My Little Son will help many, who are sick and dying from all manner of diseases, but he will set free especially many, who have the Morgellons Implant Disease! Yes, it is an implant disease, one in which Satan and his many hoards have viciously implanted the bodies of many with foreign substances, the purpose being to siphon off their light, and to override their electrical (neurological) systems until they are either mind controlled slaves, or dead! They really do not care, but delight in all of the suffering, which they have inflicted upon these unsuspecting souls! My Little One, you know the work of My son, that he is able to clean remove all such implants from the bodies of these Morgellons sufferers. And, I have brought him up amidst the most horrendous of implant technologies! Never has a living soul suffered what you have suffered, not any of the Morgellons sufferers, not anyone, not another living soul! I have brought up My Little Son in you, amidst the most horrendous of conditions, beneath the feet of Satan and all of his hoards! And, I have done so all in order to make him ready to go into My Bride, My Supernatural Army, and to equip them for these most horrendous wars, which involve these most terrible of implants and implant diseases! For, these implant diseases are now rampant and are going to increase in an exponential way! You will see this in the world, when these creatures come up out of the earth and sting the people for five months! (Rev 9:10) As you well suspect, they will sting them by driving fibers and other implantable objects into their skin and tissues! Almost overnight, the implant diseases will skyrocket, and escalate to pandemic proportions, and many will not know at all what has caused such pain, such red whelps, and such stinging! Therefore, My Little One, as this is already going on and there are no cures for these implant diseases, except for My cure through My Little Son, the manchild of Revelation Chapter Twelve, I will most assuredly take him to My throne very, very soon; and I will also call all, who are deemed ready and worthy; and I will impart My Little Son into these, who will them become the Manifest Sons of God! SS PS - The woman is wacky... Last edited by Sadsack; October 15th, 2009 at 10:21 PM.
