Recap!
Cryptostrongylus Pulmoni is a nematode, or roundworm, that is very small and not visible to the naked eye.
The bright red male measures only 200 to 350 microns in length, while the female is a little less than one millimeter long and 'maybe' blue in appearance, according to:

http://www.toxicworm.com/page5.html

Here's the site main page: http://www.toxicworm.com/page1.html

I have emailed Jules, the owner of toxicworm.com as she has been considering a link with Morgellons and Cryptostrongylus Pulmoni for some time now.

Her view, that the female has blue pigment or ink in it, is a view not shared with Dr Klapow who has been researching this worm with Harvard University - and believes that the female is transparent.

http://www.members.tripod.com/lak123/

Jules posted her story on Morgellons Watch in 2006. She'd had problems with CFS and a fungal infection and then cultured some samples that showed Cryptostrongylus Pulmoni

I'm particularly interested in this, because I've found out today that my doctor (in the Harvey camp) believes this sucker to be the culprit.

I'd appreciate any thoughts or challenges on this subject, to help work through its validity as a morgellons theory.

Cheers

Jo xxxx
Just to bring it back again I think it's possible that any one of these micro-organisms we have in our system could interact and mutate with the fungus. This is all so fascinating.

Hi Rocklady, I found the pictures, thanks for your help

Has anyone had any experience with pain, from an apparently invisible source? My grand daughter, who is two, started screaming, and grabbed her face, her right eye. We thought maybe a wasp, or some type of bug, but found nothing(visible). There wasn't anyone within several, probably 10 feet of her, so I know no one hit her accidently. It looked like a bite, as it had a small whelp, about 1/2 inch in diameter come up. The next morning, no swelling, but bruised instead?

I was told to check out this thread, and I am studying it, I was just curious as to whether this has happened to anyone else.

Thanks........Niecy

Hi Niecy,

I've had similar 'bites' on my skin, back in the summer and couldnt establish why.

I'd say that she was either bitten by something, or that something irritated her skin, causing an acute allergic reaction/immune response.

The skin around the eye is highly sensitive. It is easily bruised.

I'm not sure what or why Niecy, sorry , also treating it with tea tree or peppermint oil is not advisable around eyes for obvious reasons.

Anyone got any tips on treatments for eyes and skin around the eyes, thats safe??- just incase it happens again, or to anyone else.

cheers

Jo xxx
