Hey Kritters, judging from that site, apparently there is alot more information available than the CDC wants to recognize, don't you think? I agree with you about mainstream medicine, you would think that they of all people would know all of this.

What do you say we start sending them all of the critical links that people are posting here on the forum. At least that way thay CAN'T say that they didn't know these things existed.........I wonder really, is there anything out there to eat that is safe?

We might should send them to Erin Brockevich also.........

Funny Niecy, (not really)

I was thinking about this today. I'm beginning to think that they DO know ALL of this and are ignoring what the conscientious scientists are saying because the CDC sleeps with big pharma. ESPECIALLY they do not want people to know about alternative medicine. Unfortunately, the average person does NOT know enough about alternative medicine to buy and use on their own, and our govt. does not give credibility or license to any alternative practioner. Oh, but they DO let big pharma put medicine on the market without having first tested for safety, letting the people be the guinea pigs.

SO..........here we all are fending for ourselves.

OH! By the way, there was just an article on CNNMoney/Fortune I read about Steve Jobs having had tumors surgically removed from his pancreas. It turned out that although a diagnosis such as that usually is a death sentence, He actually had a rare and treatable form. Yeah....(I thought) it's called MONEY! Well, I'm happy for him, nonetheless.

The interesting thing about the article is that Jobs is a vegetarian and Buddhist and didn't want surgery as he is skeptical of mainstream medicine (can't imagine why!) so he was trying alternative methods of treatment but finally had the surgery. That is such a negative for people to read about regarding the failure of alternative medicine to do the job. What people don't realize is that alternative and natural medicine is very complex and also sometimes could be too late for efficacy by the time he was diagnosed.

Maybe Jobs could do for natural medicine and helping people what
Gates is doing for people in his way. Hmmmm. Yes. I DID get his email address, and I AM going to see how far I get.

Jo, I remember a television show that had a private investigater, he wore a little hat, carried a pipe.........you know, he had his friend Watson(Kritters), and he was none other than Sherlock Holmes(you). I don't know but I get a big smile on my face as I watch you two searching and posting all of this wonderful information everyday. Sherlock would say, "You know, my dear Watson........".

My husbands ex wife was being a smart*** one day when we were dating, like a 100 years ago. She was proceding to tell him something that I had done(little did she know that it was with him that I had done this terrible deed with ). Anyways, she was working him pretty hard to piss him off at me, and when she finally told him what it was I will never forget what he said , "No sh*t, Sherlock........!!!"

I laugh about that to this day everytime I think about it.......I bet you guys have alot of funny little sayings about him.

Thanks to you both for all that you do(You and Kritts), I look forward everyday to seeing what you guys have found and shared here. But once again I was picking when I asked you if you were sure you weren't a PI. Just my weird little sense of humor.........

xxxxNiecy

Sherlock Holmes quotes:

"I never remember feeling tired by work, though idleness exhausts me completely."

"Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth."

"Elementary, my dear Watson" (the obvious one)

"The lowest and vilest alleys in London do not present a more dreadful record of sin than does the smiling and beautiful countryside."

Hi peeps - see draft email below. If we're sending it on behalf of MDR, need Frankys paw and ok me thinks.

Morgellons Disease Research
Date: 6th March, 2008

FAO: Dr. Benjamin Wizel,
Department of Microbiology and Immunology,
University of Texas Health Center

Dear Dr Wizel,

Re: Chlamydia Pneumoniae - human vaccine development

We are writing to you regarding your research towards a vaccine for Cpn and are aware of your recent work on CD8 (+) T-cells.

We are a group of researchers and sufferers of 'Morgellons disease'. Morgellons is a chronic condition of unknown aetiology, which is currently being investigated by the Center for Disease Control.

Research so far, suggests that Cpn maybe either a co-infection or pre-requisiting factor for experiencing Morgellon symptoms.

Please could you provide us with an overview of your focus for future research. Also, in your opinion, how close are Cpn scientists to creating a human vaccine for Cpn?

We wish you continued success with this very important work.

Yours faithfully

Joey, Kritts, Niecy & Milly (put our real names in here)
