This shows that we never know what we are exposed to and how it will affect us in the future. It is probably worse now for our soldiers. What kind of symptoms are they going to have show up in the years to come. It is amazing they are acknowledging this to be true. It is a step in the right direction.

Then, too, morgellons lesions react to some natural products which are either used for cancer (black salves) or skin cancer (curaderm BEC5 and Sunspot ES). These products do not work on normal skin.

What does this mean when thinking of possible longer term effects on the body some years down the road? I believe that this is an internal problem, not just a skin lesion problem with threads and other weird manifestations. I also feel that the reason morgellons is hard to eradicte is because it is probably in the spleen which leads to it spreading to the lymph system (lymph fluids) and the circulatory system (blood stream). In TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) the spleen controls the muscles and I do believe morgellons is in the muscles as well accounting for some muscle pain and spasms.

This disease effects the WHOLE BODY.....the lesions are just the window to our inner health.....and by the looks of my skin I am in deep trouble internally....

I believe this is housekeeping in every organ of our bodies.....and that is where the chronic fatique sets in....and the painful joints, and swollen tissues and IBS just look at the symptoms of this disease....it goes on for pages.....the WHOLE BODY is infected.....

that is why I have been spouting that anyone infected with Morgellons should not donate blood or organ donation for that matter.....

My first symptoms were my liver counts shooting off the charts.....they thought I might have Encephilitus or Mennengitis but didn't......it was 1 1/2 years after my liver counts shooting off the charts that I thought I had recovered from that I was facing my first lesions.....1 1/2 years later....

This designer bug needs time to reproduce in the HOST before the Morgellons shows it ugly face....and every one of my husband's co-workers infected from the wastewater treatment plant has had liver issues and one died from unexplained liver failure......

My husband was fortunate when his liver counts went shooting off the charts his doctor got him PROSORBA treatments (BLOOD DIALYSIS) and he did 24 treatments of BLOOD DIALYSIS and that was the BEST he has felt since being infected.....

We believe that the BLOOD DIALYSIS filtered out some of the organisms from his blood and SAVED HIS LIFE.....if you anyone that is almost dead from this disease that PROSORBA treatments saved my husband's life......he is still very sick from this disease but he is still with me....and I don't think he would be if not for the PROSORBA treatments his doctor did for him.....he saved my husband's life.....so yes,

This disease is in the blood....take it from someone that has lived 14 years with this disease......blood dialysis saved my husband from death....

Yes, I absolutely agree BugSick, morgellons is a blood borne parasite of some sort. Designer I am less sure about, since there are folks who claim to have been sick I think far longer than the time nanos have been released into the environment. Unless of course we look back to the Gulf War veterans who brought back mysterious ills from the first Iragi war, which could fit the longer term morgies (but not all since some claim that they have been sick for two+ decades and the Gulf war is just sixteen years ago). Somehow, it does not all fit into a pat answer as to what this is exactly, at least not in my mind.

You might want to read up on hyperbaric oxygen. I think it could be very helpful for this problem (and a host of other ills which conventional medicine cannot cure). It will kill a lot of critters who are anaerobic plus even if they are aerobic (such as lyme spirochetes) often they do not survive and multiply that readily in the presence of oxygen.

Also in my own case I have used traditional Chinese medicine herbs from the start (I got mine from eating fish, extremely sick within hours vomiting, diarrhea, headache, fever, flu like symptoms, cloudy burning urine etc.). I know what you mean about being very sick, and I think that flushing out the stuff at the start (herbally) saved me from the more extensive ills I might have otherwise developed. I am sure if I had not had help from several TCM herbalists at that time I would have gotten many more symptoms than I did. I also have done colon cleanses with herbs. Using herbs to clease the liver, gall bladder and kidneys also helps. Yes, I do believe it is in the blood and also in some stages in the lymph system. Which makes it so hard to get out of the body, just as no one so far has a good answer for another blood borne parasitic illness, malaria. Still, hitting this problem with herbs all the time has kept it under control to a great extent. No extended itchies for one thing. Lesions seem to have gone.

Yeah, I would agree, until more is know blood donations are a bad idea. Organs too. From a TCM standpoint this stuff is in the bladder, kidneys, liver, and spleen as well as the lungs and colons. Pretty well everywhere there is blood/lymph.

interesting, cancer caused from parasites? someone also posted on here on microorganisms linked to alzheimer's disease. i have this theory: many with incurable diseases can be cured, that cancer and many incurable diseases are linked to microorganisms. as far as diseases in our blood, in our entire system, plus a primordial soup od microorganisms, bacteria fungi, etc. YES, it is so. interesting, when first on iv antibiotics via a groshon catheter in my chest, with first dose of medicine, any wound sites on my body, including the catheter site, had clusters of black specks trying to escape from my bloodstream. most bizarre and strange. my face was also like a snake shedding for about five days or so, shedding bizarre greenish skin (most likely due to fungus and other junk), and my face swelled most likely due to my sytem sheeding toxins from disease out of my face. currently i am doing well, although last night today not a happy time, had monthly start horrid for us women with disease because seems like disease born anew again and herx real bad even on meds. i am at library glad to report think foot was just severly sprained was purple unable to walk but now can, yeah. anyway. glad i got those crutches helped me get around. i am offline currently at home, so be on library computer from time to time for a bit. when i am back online and phone also back up i shall let you know. just money tight with hubbie starting new job, but that is okay. many of us know that feeeling. just letting you know i am still kicking and interesting post, (LC).

Glad to hear your foot is getting better. Massage will help a sprain alot and you can do this youself a couple times a day or better yet if you have a friend who will do it

I am bringing this back up ,
because things we were exposed to along time ago, can and do affect us now. The Vietnam War, the late 60's and early 70's is admitted as being the cause of soldiers cancer caused by a parasite they were exposed to.

Bugsick, they need to do the same for those Water Treatment workers.
Before your husband had all of his blood Dialysis did they notice anything unusual about his blood like count or type?
