Default Dermatech & PuraCleen

As I was researching “skin parasite” infections I came across Dermatechrx.com. (They also have a website called puracleenrx.com)

They have a very impressive website with Morgellons information, with lots of satisfied customers’ testimonials etc. So I bought $199 packages that contained PuraCleen, Mitactin, rejuvenating body wash and some disinfectant spray. PuraCleen and Mitactin seemed to work so-so, but the disinfectant spray and rejuvenating body wash weren’t very effective. Also their customer service was pretty poor – I had one of the packages that never arrived (it was insured) I had to call them several times from Germany but I could not get them to return my call or e-mail. It took me a PayPal Dispute Resolutions to get my money back. Not a pleasant experience.

Has anyone else tried their products?

Thank you so much for the heads up. I am sure that info there will help some people out there about that website. I tell you what regardless of how good those products are, it really shows how a company is when its time to show their customer service. For such a high ticket item, you think that would come with excellent post customer help.

To all when ordering stuff overseas, you have to be very careful ordering. Before I order anything online or overseas, I always try to search for info on the company. Try to find some feedback on the site. I order lots of stuff online and overseas. Even with all my research I still get stiffed once in a while, esp overseas.

Kari where are located? I am sure you can find some good similar products here in the usa.

Hi Bubba,

I spent the last 6 years in Germany but I live in Michigan now. I was infected in 2001 in Barstow, CA. Since then, I moved to Germany and now here in Michigan. The pesky disease followed me every time.

By the way I contacted the doctor you mentioned. There is approx. 2 month waiting list. The receptionist told me that they will contact me... in about 2 months.

I tried Mitacin early on when my symptoms first started last spring, notice I'm still here. I do wonder sometimes though if the products I used early on can be credited with the fact that I didn't continue to get lesions or if its just the way the organism works, (different symptoms on different systems). When my symptoms started I used both Mitacin and Dexoprin, one after the other when the first didn't work. For months I carried spray bottles with me and I sprayed myself (at home, in the car, in the bathroom at work, in a restaurant), numerous times a day as well as every time I felt movement anywhere. My co-workers thought I'd gone "buggy" I also sprayed "Bug Arrest" (enzyme pet product for ticks, mites & fleas) directly into the initial lesion constantly and carried that with me spraying myself for months as well. In the lesion, I think the Bug Arrest dehydrated anything living and it healed up after about 2 months leaving nothing but a small bulls-eye scar. I still use the Bug Arrest product but never felt the Mitacin or Dexoprin were worth purchasing a second time.

If I had as many 2 cents as I have opinions ....

~~~Yes. I have. I was unsure, honestly. I know that my hair has suffered greatly from this thing. i used the body wash in my hair, left in on for quite some time. It burned my scalp pretty good. Then it peeled for several days afterwards. No fun there! But if I use the wash on my hands (leave it on and let it dry) it seems to help quite a bit. But as far as the blue mite cleaner junk....no. I was not impressed, either.
To me, it seems like anything newly used seems to have an effect...at first. Then whatever this thing is that we are trying to eliminate from our living environment, sort of seems to adjust to the new product we use and we are right back at square one....until we try something else. At least, for me, it has been this way. The best thing I ever did, until I discovered the Ionic treatment, was replace my carpet, purchase an Oreck and vacuum every day or as much as humanly possible.
I also stumbled onto this interesting soap at the hardware store (Ace hardware). It is called Grandmother's Lye soap. It was the cleanest I had felt in a long time. I also would coat my hair in it and let it dry. Before fully showering, I would get my hair damp and pull a lice comb through it all. What comes out is pretty darned strange and plenty of tiny white thready looking fibers.
Sandswfist, What you're doing, when you let the soap dry in your hair, is smothering the parasite. You can do this all over your body to smother. I use a menthol soap like Zest or Irish Spring. Vinegar in a spray bottle is recommended here for cleaning and stopping the crawlies. ...WTG
WTG~ It seems to be the case. I'm glad you mentioned it cuz now I must try it on my die off stage, here. It's driving me crazy. I used this clear mask on my legs the other night because I was itching so badly. From the knees down, I applied it and let it dry. It was as smooth as glass where it didn't itch. The places that it did itch, dried perfect formations of what resembled red worms only with diamond shaped heads. The mask I used was St Ives peel-off hydroxy masque.
***another dry them out and smother protocol, come to find out. Drowning in any type of liquid just doesn't seem to happen. I have not tried the vinegar, though. I'll try that one, too.
Since the subject is on it, have you or anyone else ever noticed the bubbles that have the colors in them. I dunno, colors that almost seem irredescent like? And extra shiny in your hair? Hard one to explain, I just know it's not the usual look to normal hair when shampooing. I have seen this in the laundry, in the kitchen sink and a time or two when washing my car. Just thought I would ask, I have never read of this, anywhere before.
Thanks much!!
WELL I'LL BE DERNED
Looks like me and Kari share a little somethin' in common!! Just the Barstow, Ca. thing, though.
I didn't read this till now. I sleep. I wake up. I'll read....go back to bed. Usually I wake at 2:22am. This time it was 12:22am. Apparently I have a thing w/triple 2's.??? Big red flags, time and time again. Whats up w/that?
Hey maryok~you read this?
So Kari~I was also in Barstow. Stayed in a motel room while my husband worked here. He was there for awhile, I just came down to hang out w/him for awhile. Went back home, I wasn't having much fun with the way the water was treating my hair, not sure what was going on but my hair...pretty long, actually it was quite beautiful...back then. I had stacked it up on my head and figured I would mess with it when I got home. After I got home, I jumped in the shower...oh man, what a mess. My hair ratted into such a mess. It stayed that way for two weeks. My husband came home on the weekends and would work on it. In fact, I didn't even wash it for those 2 weeks. On the 2nd weekend, he finally got all the nats out. After that, my hair was the best it had ever been. 2 weeks without water did wonders for it.
About a yr ago, I found out what those people ended up having a lawsuit over. It was something that was in their water and for the life of me, right now I cannot remember what it was.
That was in 1999 (my experience with my hair) It is related because it's the same things I get in my hair now, only very few. That lawsuit came in or just shortly after 2001.
My "Morgellon's" did not kick into swing until my immune system was taxed by toxic mold...internally and externally. One break of the skin, while out in the yard/soil, and all heck broke loose.
Barstow....No Doubt something was up with this!!!
I used the Dermatech and it helped me significantly heal the lesions i had initially the 3 months after the biting and stinging. I used the Miactin and DE. I also used the Peppermint by 2 Safe. I believe they helped keep my skin intact. I took a lot of borax and peppermint baths about 3x daily in the early months of the biting, stinging and crawling. I have to give them some credit!
Belinda/RN...plus they always gave other ideas on what to do.
