Default Some Inexpensive herbs that have helped me along the way....

Oral spices/herbs:

Cinnamon:
This is a natural antibacterial, anti fungal, anti parasitic, and thins blood to allow for better circulation.

Turmeric:
Many have tried before for similar reasons as above. Also: anti-amyloid/ prion, anti-inflammatory. In fact, read a study stating that Turmeric was made 2000 times more powerful when being taken with pepper. So I take with black or cayenne pepper.

Cayenne:
This increases metabolism, a great antagonist against mucous, and has some antiseptic properties.

Vitamin C & Salt Protocol:
Works better for some than others however most folks say if does something for them. Of course, please be careful with the high salt if you have a blood pressure problem.

L-Carnitine:
A little more expensive but may be worth it: Known to work against Alzheimer's/ prion, increases fat metabolism and helps liver and kidneys synthesize the right proteins.

Gingko:
Not very novel. However, studies prove it acts as a vasiodialor increasing circullation to head and legs. You want oxygen and blood flow for whatever it is we're fighting off.

Multi-enzyme supplement:
Should contain bromelain or papaya enzyme, pancreitin, amalyse, etc, pepsin, bentaine. You can get a mixed supplement at Wal-Mart or any major chain. Myself, I strive to avoid meat. Some of the chemicals parcreatin are of animal origin. If you are reluctant to do that, you can still get a lot of benefit from bromelain or papaya enzyme. Our skin may have become subject to these awful symptoms because we may not be processing or absorbing things. Also my natural medicine guide rates bromelain(pineapple enzymes), very high, for antibiotic potentiation.

Sorry about my wordines and poor spelling. I am new here and just wanted to contribute something.

Evan

Evan,
Thanks for the valuable input. I have found that following Bubba's protocol and very aggressively supporting the immune system most valuable. Please share all you can with us! I also eat vegetarian, juice, and have found that enzymes taken orally and applied topically to really be of benefit. I believe this is the answer to the body gaining the stength to kick this. Check out the alternative treatment posts. We are an interesting bunch around here. Be Well...prayers, Linda
