Default Excellent treatment- Sun beds tanning salon uv light alcohol

Hi everyone

I am still waiting for my first appointment for UV Light Therapy at my local hospital in UK, which I was referred for by a specialist dermatologist who actually heard of and believes in Morgellons!

Symptoms were getting unbearable so I thought I'd try using a sunbed at my local tanning salon. As soon as I was under the lights I could see the problem areas all over my body, they showed up very dark under the lights, and also my skin was tingling all over. The crawling sensation stopped almost immediately and I wish I had spent longer on the sunbed as I think 9mins only catches the surface, however it was my first time using this salon and they only allow first time users a max of 9mins for first session.

I wondered if anyone else has had any success with UV light? I also use my infa red sauna regularly and take candida clear, multivitamins, garlic pills, colon cleanse tablets and Sulphur 30 capsules. I bath in salt and pine disinfectant and apply antiseptic cream to my face and up my nose, along with salt water nasal spray and tea trea shampoo and conditioner.

I will keep you all updated with any progress once the hospital UV treatment starts, but thought I would offer this advice for anybody suffering these awful symptoms over the holidays.

I also find that if I drink alot of alcohol, the symptoms seem to stop the following day. Not that I do it often! I know it makes your body very acidic which is bad for M but I really find everything more or less stops with a hangover, maybe there's so much alcohol in my bloodstream, it hinders M? I know it doesn't like alcohol on the outside so maybe it's the same on the inside? Anybody got any views on this?

Wishing you all the best of luck with this torturing illness over the festive period, love to you all that are suffering, I understand your pain and support you all 100%

Merry Xmas xxx

I was wondering if youve been tested for lyme disease...

That "bruise" on your leg in your video really resembles the classic bullseye rash of lyme exposure.

Default Polly....

Hi Polly

No I haven't been tested for lymes but the bruise on my leg in the video is actually a bruise from where I fell over in the bathroom desperately trying to bleach everything around me (in the early days before I knew what this was) I was trying to destroy the biofilm that seemed to be following me everywhere and was climbing up my legs!

I am really interested to know more about this drunk theory....I really feel so normal after a vodka binge drinking session!

Has anybody else got anywhere with this method?

Thanks for your reply!

Thumbs up

I think it has to be a strong alcohol, vodka has always been my poison and seems most effective, wine isn't very good, nor is brandy or lager (beer and lager have too much yeast i think)

As Xmas is upon us, it's a good excuse to test the theory...lol...will let you know how I get on

Hope you are all well, I'm feeling great today...the sunbed or the vodka? Lol

Think I may have plugged my ear up with either salt or antiseptic cream, can't hear out of my left ear..been two days now and nothing will clear it! Am a bit worried I may have done permanent damage...

black velvet is a pretty strong whiskey...let me tell ya! my opinion? stay away from any tanning beds or infrared sauna junk, that will make you worse in the long run.. keep skin hydrated, not dried out. i use jergins lotion a LOT... some days my skins just sucks it up... but you need to hydrate your skin, not make it like leather..

by the way, wine is kinda good if they are in your gut, drink a glass of wine and if your guts starts rumbling, then its in your guts. ( thats kinda good, means theyre on their way out) activia yogurt works too.
as far as your ear, theres murine ear cleaner for swimmers ear, get some of that.. never put anything in your ears that isnt made special for your ears!! you could screw up your hearing permanatly. way too close to your brain to be messing with.. only use stuff made for your ears in your ears, same goes for your eyes. only use stuff made for eyes in your eyes...
get to the doc if your hearing isnt better tomorow.. you need to correct whatever you did there....

I actually love my infrared light. It doesn't seem to help or hinder, it just makes me feel good using it.

I agree about keeping hydrated. I use Cetaphil lotion every night. It has helped my skin a lot. My skin is now paper thin and highly sensitive, so I'm careful as to what I put on it.

different lotions work for different people, ive heard that palmers cocoa butter works well, but it didnt for my skin. im lucky, jergins is cheap....thats the one that works for me, so i stick with that. but whatever works best for your skin, stay with it...
and if your infrared makes you feel better, then by all means, use it. im just glad you understand its not cureing your morgs like some claim it does. if it makes you feel better , then definatly use it. we all could use 'me time' sometimes...
