| Its not to find a cure, because if it was you wouldnt be attacking the people who come up with a potential one. So the heck what if you dont agree! Just ignore it and look on. Your bullcrap responses are why people dont join up or stay on long. Youre ridiculous and certainly no better than the Drs who give you the DP diagnosis. Ive seen old and brand new members attacked. Why? Damn if i can figure it out! Seriously, you people have a lot more problems than Morgellons. You really do need Psychiatrists. | HEY POLLY I THOUGHT YOU WERE OUTTA HERE, gone, vamoosed, cutta chogy, aloha, Da pabaczenia, Bidai, Ciao, Adios, ahhh you get what I'm saying, did you tell a lie? You know many of us seniors don't like lying we were born in a age when lying was absolutly the worst thing, it was right above murder, yup. Polly actually we are here for the reasons we are here for, one is to try to protect people from poisoning themselves with some ridicules poisoning protocol. Then also maybe if someone is spurting reality's like a arm chair prophet well its our duty to ask about those reality's, I never said anything about it not working NOPE. I asked about all the stated reality's in the unusual rhetoric. Yes Sir, I just gotta know. If you can answer the questions there should be no problems, if it is a concoction of the imagination, well lets just not argue about the situation, say it came to you in a lightning bolt carried by a rat with angel wings. If you do that then I guess I would stop asking questions and see the statements for what they are, fabrications, factitious. Here we are a kinda tight little family, we may argue but still we do know the people that are more fact than myth. They are the as sportman puts it the seniors, the people that have already been where you are and sadly also where your going. If you want to believe sportsmans protocol without asking questions then go for it Miss Polly nobody will stop you, but I like to ask questions and I will. ![]() You know somthing polly, you and sportsman seem to have known each other in a previous life or somthing, do you know each other? you speak the same language, SUPERIOR! If you post protocol with huge assumtions stated as facts and expect me not to ask questions then you must be an alien. I learned this from my friend TCM and I thank her for honeing my skills of looking at things better from both sides of the coin. I agree, some times people that ask questions aren't welcomed to the party, polititians do not like people that ask questions, my god doctors do not like them either, yes some times questions that can not be answered expose people for what they really are. | I have been thinking about your question. I know we appear to be crusty old sufferers of morgellons. Knocking every thing new. I don't think we have explained in a kind way how we feel. I do remember back when I felt as you do now. Willing to try any thing to get rid of this horrible problem, actualy putting my health at more risk. I understand. This process is going to take time. Until the CDC or other scientist come up with valid research, we are pretty much on our own. As time goes by, you will get used to the idea that you have to heal your own body in a respectful way. There have been many people here claiming that they know "the cure" , and they have come and gone. I was part of that myself. You have to take responsibility for your own health, don't rely on others to find answers for you. Follow up on interesting health leads presented on this board, and go from there. I am a great believer in research, and the Internet is a wonderful tool. Last edited by Janice; November 15th, 2011 at 07:13 AM. |

| I also wanted to add that I believe that anyone who post as much as sportsman on his" cure "appears to be in the throws of desperation and panic. That leads me to believe he is in the throws of morgellons as well. One thing you will come to know, as your feeling better and healthier, your mind calmes down and one becomes balanced. This is one very good indication. |

| Janice, nice never worked with these guys if you want to go back on all the posts. What you just explained was said 100 times, 100 times nice, what was explained was if you make HUGE claims questions would be asked, when questions were asked people would expert answers. Questions were not ignored, questions were turned around as mean, judgmental, bullies, then the supposed newbies called us names such as seniors, like little children would say to their parents. When you are asked 100 times to answer a few question about what you post as if you are the ever loving CDC, if your that smart, just answer them. Answer them or realize your not cutting edge technology, the least word. |

I have the utmost respect for everyone who has found this forum and who has the courage and presence of mind to join the ranks to find a solution; especially those senior members who have experienced and suffered with this condition for so long, and who have spent so much time researching and experimenting, etc. That being said, and as a "newbie", I am a bit surprised at the lack of tolerance from a few of those most senior members. I understand the disagreement, I understand the emotional nature of the differences, but I don't understand sustaining the childish exchange. It makes for a very poor showing on everyone's part. If Sportsman is excited and enthusiastic about his findings, well so be it, and I am happy for him. I have tried some of the suggestions from other members, including the senior members that have not helped me. I don't go back and chastise or castigate them for it. I understand that what works for some, won't work for all, and I think that we are reminded of that a lot here. Let's remember that we have a common enemy here, and should unite in that purpose, not pick each other apart. Reading those continued threads is upsetting and leaves one (at least me) with a very negative and depressed feeling. You know that this disease both causes and thrives upon that. |

| Putting religious beliefs into posts can be very upsetting to many as M doesn't pass up people of different faiths but rather gets us all, even the atheists who have a right to their belief or lack of belief.I don't want anyone turned away due to posts containing religious statements or politically charged statements.I also perceive that excitation about progress is sometimes part of a syndrome connected to our sickness.I have to check myself before posting too much about one thing as it often turns others off to our beliefs about progress.Y ou can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. |

I watched a brand new member attacked the other day for no good reason other than to give someone an ego boost. THAT is uncalled for. |

Yep. I agree. Take it to a more appropriate forum. A kind word is all thats needed, dont turn into a missionary. It actually adds stress to others. |

| Hi Polly, so glad to hear you feel this way, so perhaps, since you and sportsman are such good pals, perhaps you might ask her/him to let up on her/his missionary zeal to include not posting the same exact information over and over, to quit listing the same products again and again, and to quit starting new threads just to link to another thread s/he posted and to quit doing that over and over again too. Oh, and please remind her/him this is not a born again forum, in case s/he forgot. quote=Pollyringworm;86349]Yep. I agree. Take it to a more appropriate forum.
