Default I think I found something that helps

I want to help others out there so I must first state that I think I have discovered the cure for morgellons (which I believe is actually Collembola). For my clothes, what I found and has worked over all of these months is to wash all of my clothes in borax and hot water. After borax, my clothes no longer bit me. The cure (I think) is neem seed oil. Also, we had to go to the doctor and take a prescription of mebendazole which seemed to cure us internally.

I am writing this in hopes to help other suffering people and families. We have been going through this for 9 months (that we are aware of). I think this was going on much longer than we knew. I also think our beautiful Siberian husky was suffering from this for possibly years. He used to itch and we could never find what was bothering him so we always treated for fleas. When he passed away suddenly, then the whole family became affected.
At first we thought we had head lice and tried numerous methods to treat it, over the counter, olive oil, lavender, tea tree…. None of these worked. We then realized this was something else (possibly bird mites from the wild ducks that wonder through our yard) and upon researching the internet for hours concluded we had the symptoms of morgellons… fibers, burrowed mites, crawling, itching – on our scalp, in our ears, in our nose and all over our body. We were horrified and seeked the assistance of our holistic practitioner which prescribed $500 worth of internal remedies for our family (black walnut, berberus, probiotics, etc.) She also prescribed Epson salts and sulfur.

The sulfur helped some, the Epsom salts seemed to help until I realized that the salts simply drove the mites further into my scalp. I tried rubbing alcohol at that point which seemed to help some.

There just seemed to be no solution. We have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. I cried many nights over worrying about her. My husband and I were at our wits end.

We then tried Kleen Green, Dermisil, and Benzarid. Even though these seemed to help a little, they did not resolve the problem…. Still crawling, itching, biting…. So back to the internet I went.

I ended up coming across this site which explained what we were going through completely. It seems to me that morgellons is collembola. This site explained it all to me: (cedarcidestore) The images show exactly what we were finding. It had been so confusing since there were so many variations of the parasites we were finding. I have not tried cedarcide yet because I am so broke and have spent so much money or so many things trying to get rid of this.

Then, the best thing I I found and this seems to have cured our problem in LESS THAN A WEEK! I stumbled across neem seed oil on this site: (DiscoverNeem) I went directly to our health food store (you can purchase this online – is inexpensive). The first night I used it (mixed 50/50 with a carrier of lotion), I felt them crawling off of my head from places that I did not even realize I had them. The second night I felt less. I made a mixture in a garden sprayer (2 teaspoons neem, ¼ teaspoon dish soap, 5 cups water – see the site for mixtures). I sprayed my entire house (furniture, floors and even the dogs) I mopped my hard floors with a mixture of neem, dish soap and hot water. Since I have done all of that – we have not had any new bites and the dogs have stopped scratching. This is the fourth night of using neem on ourselves and I feel no crawling and have no bites. All I can say is praise the lord that I found neem seed oil. I hope it helps more people suffering from this debilitating problem.

I'm so glad you're getting relief, especially with a small child. I have a three year old that's affected by this, too. But I need to tell you, I've been using Neem oil from the very beginning of my infestation and while it has helped, it has definitely not been our cure. And Borax didn't do a thing for me.

It may be for someone else, so thank you very much for posting your protocol.

You know, I am just trying to help others. I didn't have to share my experience. You don't have to be so nasty. I could just keep what has helped me to myself.

Default Sorry about that sevenfeathers, I was just joking

I was joking friend, about the triple posting and telling you how to do it.

As for cures yours is the third this week, I do not know which one I would choose yet.

We tried so many different things over this past 9 months to get rid of this. None of the doctors we went to had a clue. I don't normally post on threads, so my in-experience shows... sorry about the multiple postings. I just wanted to help. Everyone is scrambling for a cure. Different things are helping different people. I just wish the medical community would get on board. I just pray that this neem continues to rid these things because I don't think we can endure one more crawly night. It is now day 5 and I am not experiencing any more crawling.

Default I am glad Neem worked for you

Its a nice thing to get over the itching it can be so intense, it alone can drive you mad.

i do not know if this helps but, my daughter I am quite sure was born with this but over the years she is 23 she actually lost most of the attributes of it.

Maybe second generation afflicted will be better off at fighting this affliction.

Can you tell us how exactly you use the neem and what brand it is, please. This may very well help someone, so discounting it would be wrong.

Sorry it takes me a while to get on here and post. I have limited time with work and a toddler. I am using Neem-Aura Naturals Neem Seed Oil. I have been mixing it 50/50 with a carrier (such as lotion or olive oil) - so far, I have been applying once per day at night before going to bed. Today, I have felt some itching, but no crawling. So, I am getting ready to apply it again. This is definately finally going away. I have not had anything work so well. On the site, it does state that it will take about a week and it is working for us. My daughter was lucky enough to not be very affected by these things. All I am doing for her is adding a little bit to her shampoo to deter any. Her hair is thin and I bathe her everynight and check her head to toe. On the discover neem site, there is another anti-parisitic carrier to mix with (need to go back and look at the discoverneem . com site to find it) - got a message that i can't post links on here yet.

For the spray, I mixed 5 cups water with 2 teaspoons of neem and 1/4 teaspoon of dish soap (also referenced on the Discover Neem site.)

I will keep posting my progress. Am going to treat my entire house again tomorrow. This is so much work.

As for the borax, I wash everything in 1/2 cup. I don't wear anything twice. I change my bed sheets pretty much daily. The only thing that it has not worked well on is my bras. I have had to throw them out because they itch me and I am afraid to keep them.

It is embarrasing to post so much info about myself. I just know how we have suffered and I hope to help others. I have searched and read (what feels like a million sites and posts) trying to figure this out. I see so many suffering and so many kids I have even heard of people committing suicide over this - which is so sad.

There has got to be a cure. I don't know if I definately have it - but I am praying this will be put to an end within the next week.
