Colloidal Silver

Hi everyone,

I tried a search for the above, and couldn't find a thread dedicated to it, so I started this one. What is your opinion about colloidal silver? Have you found it effective as part of your protocol? Do you think it is beneficial, or do you think that it might be harmful in the long run?

I have been using it now for almost a month. Taking a teaspoon in the morning, and again before bed. I also have been using it on a saturated cotton swab inside of my ears, which have always been a problem, in my eyes, and on my face. I can say that I believe it is effective, at least for now, in helping to alleviate symptoms, and taken internally, it has made me feel better, I believe.

Please post your feedback/opinions. Are there specific brands which are better than others?

I used 800.00 worth of Nutra Silver and turned into a big purple bruise. My toungue, limbs etc... It did push some things out but was afraid of what it was doing to me.

I now successfully take a jigger a day of Silver Mountain Minerals 240 PPM and it does me good in keeping the green away. Found on large lesions they would sometimes have a flourescent green mass. I had my ND dr check and this seems to be a good brand. It does not turn me "colors". Supposedly kills 650 microorganisms where antibiotics only kill 6. Price is good...

If you order, also get the Iodine - that has helped to put on a lesion to "kill" it. I was paying 24.00 but thiers is only 17.00.

Be careful putting Silver on topically as it can actually split and multiply them.

Considered making my own Silver but what seems to make it work is if the particles are nano sized to push out the unwanted nanos, not sure if the homemade one will do that.

I would love to hear if someone makes thier own, better or as good???

Also found it is like everything else, after awhile it stops working, take a break then start again......

I am taking what I believe is a very good brand by American Biotech Labs. I just take a teaspoon twice daily. I have found that it has dried up the little bumps on my scalp, and has helped with my eyes tremendously. I do know that, as with everything, they will build up a resistance, but I am also taking it to boost the immune system. I also have heard that if you take too much silver, it will turn your skin blue. The Nutrasilver name is mentioned on this forum quite a bit, and not necessarily in a favorable light. I think they claim to have "cured" Joanie Mitchell of her Morg, though...

I am taking kelp caps for iodine now.
