| I've been receiving regular acupuncture treatments for the past few weeks. I started because I was so anxious and panicky, that I needed to get some peace and rest. The acupuncurist is a family friend, and so when I fell asleep in the chair, he left me alone for 2.5 hours. I felt good afterward. I will say that during the treatment, I feel a lot of the little electronic "poppings". Has anyone else used acupuncture as a treatment? Do you think it's beneficial? |

| Hi. Yes, I used acupuncture for about a year. It is wonderful and so relaxing. As far as the morgelons goes, if you look at is as part of a total program, and not as a total cure, then it's great. It's a piece of a health puzzle, and I am sure your friend/ acupuncturist can lead you in the right direction. One thing I can.add... drink plenty of water and research aloe Vera juice to see if it's right for you. Janice |

| Yes, I've used acupuncture. But lymphatic massage worked for me. Check it out. Lymphstar Pro Obviously, toxins build up in our bodies and the "Morgellons" feeds on toxins. Toxins are found in our lymph system and the lymph nodes get clogged. I am NOT suggesting that you buy a machine to treat yourself. It takes a massage therapist. Do a search for therapists in your area. I drink water with 1/2 lemon and clove powder every morning as a liver de-tox. Itwl, ~jonsi

| I am a retired acupuncturist. It works great for lots of things. But you have to have an OMD or other expert who has appropriate training and experience. I do some treatments on myself. I finally found a nearby OMD who can be my buddy and we sometimes trade treatments. This doctor will do the acupuncture treatments on me for M problems, that is the acupuncture treatments that are difficult for me to do on myself (back points etc). We are using the Tung point system and still hope for a complete recovery for me. Almost all systemic and many of the skin problems I used to have are gone and I do believe it's from the combination of TCM herbs and acupuncture. The other part of the story is that I have been diligent, prior to M, and during, about generally taking good care of my wellness. I'm not on meds but alter the acupuncture and formula rapidly if things change (weather, symptoms etc). But these past few days I have been unwell with severe swelling in my arm where M objects were erupting out of it recently. Plus with the fall weather I am feeling a slight bit of sinus-phlegm threatening to give me an ear infection. Hopefully this potential problem can be headed off. Some of the points prescriptions that are conventionally used are not helpful for M. Believe me if we figure out the best acupuncture points prescription/strategy I'll write it all up in detail. Most of the points could be used by lay people at home with either a cupping set or acupressure (finger pressure); needles are not necessary, but a correct set of points is crucial for success if using the points to balance qi in channels and collaterals. | Hi Jean, Don't you agree that the lymph system and toxins has a lot to do with "Morgellons" also? Thanks, ~itwl, jonsi

| yes lymph is involved. toxic conditions are part of M. not sure which is the chicken/egg in this case - perhaps the pathogens create endotoxins, exotoxins. perhaps mutagenic or toxic exposures cause immunity failure and the M pathogen then gets a foothold. |
