my recent dr visit

Just too let you all know, I finally had too tell a doctor they do not care about anything but money. I had an appt today at johns hopkins and Iam so angry how incompentent doctors are. I guess I cant name names but this indvidual it was my 3rd with her. First a nurse asks me what Iam doing here. I explained I have lesions that wont heal she leaves another doctor comes in and looks at my face and say do you scratch yourself. I said no and says will I see some crust on your scalp. she leaves the derm I had comes in and gets a glass and looks at me and says these are self inflicted. I said your nuts. did you go too medical school. then i said its obvious you cant help me your taking my money and time for nothing. they make you feel like your crazy. I have decided doc tors make me feel worse. sammy

Sammy, I am so sorry you were treated badly. That is one of the reasons I don't try to discuss my condition with my Dr. I asked her one time if she had ever heard of morgellons and she almost ran out of the room to keep from talking about it. I am glad I didn't tell her I thought I had morgs. I would probably be without a Dr. and labeled DOP. How sad that we get treated this way. sooner or later Drs. will not be able to ignore what is right in front of them. I think that more Drs. will get this condition too. It is spreading rather fast from the looks of all the newbies we get looking for a way to treat this. You think they will say it is mass hysteria? Take care, DD

Thanks Dizzy, Of course I never mentioned the m word. just lesions. but you would think Johns hopkins one of the best or considered the best. would actually try too help you especially since my ins is paying 200 prob per visit. they set me up and knew before they even looked at me thats the really sad part. sammy

Hi sammy & dd,

I was treated the same way by the docs "MD's" when I brought up "Morgellons".

I lost my medical insurance and started seeing a homeopathic.naturoepathic doc that treated me & respected me/ I have been very healthy now for 3+ years now.

Alternative medicine can work. Be careful of taking herbs and anything someone suggests. What works for someone else may make you sicker...

[Hi steve i am mike 32 yrs old father of a a 5yr oldl boy, i have noticed my clothes are falling apart, i am geting little bites, i have lost 110 ponds i look sickly, i cant affprd to get my meds, they are 843 dollars my toenails are falling off, i have all sorts of fibers and lesions i feel like i could end it all but i will never give up i have to much to live for, i love the Lord.
