I am also having scalp issues and this has got worse more recently. I put pure coconut in overnight which seems to slow down movement and help with the dry hair issue due to daily washing with shampoo with tea tree oil.

Default Hi

Have you guys tried grandma's lye soap on your scalp? I really think it is worth a try, a lot less messy and inexspensive. It is the saponins in the soap that does the trick for ones skin. Probably none of these things are great for the hair itself, but ya gotta get the scalp clear. Janice

Good morning!
There is another organic thing you can try on your scalp, I did it when I had this problem a few years back. I am reluctant to mention it as I was doing acupuncture at the same time and wasn't sure wich one did the trick. I have never had the problem again (knock on wood). I used ESP botanicals shampoo. I bought one bottle.
It is not cheap, around $20 bucks a bottle.

Default This is what I think...

Pick an acupuncturist that has been doing this a long time, not one who used to be a chiropractor, but has switched because there is more money in it. I think this is very important.
You want a spiritual person, even if you are not. It can be an excellent healing experience, but you want to be relaxed and in a relaxing nice environment. Do not go to one that is purely clinical.

Hi,

I am also interested in the acupuncture, but dont know where to start. How would it work for scalp issues?

In terms of the K shampoo i think you can get it in Boots in Uk without a prescription.

Default Hi guys

I want to repeat that I don't know if it was the acupuncture or the shampoo, that did the trick for me.
I did acupuncture for around a year, and it did help a lot of my symptoms , but alas, they returned when I stopped..
So mabey fighting the symptoms in this way is good by slowing down the progress of this disease, but a cure it is not.
Before investing a lot of money in acupuncture for your scalp try the ESP botanicals. This is the only symptom that has not returned.
