Doc, when I first developed symptoms, I thought I had head lice. I tried OTC, organic, natural and prescription remedies. Nothing helped. Finally I bought a Robi comb, which zaps live things on your scalp. It also zaps anything that's raised, little sores, etc. It was quite painful because I had a bunch of little raised sore places. It removed a gazillion tiny white "hairs" I'd never seen. (That's when I began to take morgellons seriously as a possibility) I had to clean the teeth of the comb with every pass through my hair because they were literally covered in white fuzz. I used it every night for a couple of weeks. Things didn't get better, they got worse. After using the comb regularly, symptoms spread all over me. Now, maybe that would have happened anyway, but my experience of morgellons is that it either has an electric charge on its own or makes me very electrostatic. A lot of my discomfort seems to have to do with that. I don't think I'd use a Robi comb again or anything that has an electrical current. I really kindof wonder if it didn't supercharge the buggers or something. It might work great for head lice, but that's not what we've got and we don't know what makes these guys tick yet. But that's just my experience and someone else might not react the same way.

well this thing says it takes care of Parasite's,.it puts a certain type or low current .Hmm, my Older Sister usually knows what she talks about,.but this,.I just don't know,..Sojii!,.electric comb ,.lol,.I vacuum my hair,.have been for a while,.got the white fuzz their too,.but the vacuuming seems to have helped,..last year when I was very sick for a long time,.my Doctor gave me Bactrim D/D that seemed to stop things for a while,.later was able to decrease the vacuuming,.was 3 times a day,.then 2 times a day,..now once & a while when needed,..Hmm go figure,..but still have problems elsewhere,.not bad,.but still there. thanks & take care,..well Sojii,.how are you doing now ??

huh,.why Sojii?,..I know you said you had a problem,..tell me again please,.but!,.tell me everything ,..the reason I'm asking this,.I've have this thing in my lip & cheek of my mouth,..the inside ,between the skin,.well!,..anyway,.one time as this thing was growing,.it started to move,.so I stopped it with with my tung,..well now,.it got pissed off,..I felt an electric pulse,.that went trough more then my lip & cheek,...can you add to this??

If zappers cured morgellons we would have all heard of it by now. I for one do not think it cool to post products and prices in this way as it implies someone is selling the product, not truly asking questions about it. The forum should be used to discuss zapper use and its effects and not used to post exact information about one particular brand of zapper. You could also try looking up past discussions of zappers on the forum or do a search on google where there's a ton of information on them.

Doc, I have no concrete or educated reason for saying what I said; it's a gut feeling, but a strong one. I think mild electrical "jolts" do affect these things, whatever they are. But in my case, it seemed to make it way worse. The Robi comb is intended for head lice, and supposedly works very well on them. The way it works is when it's passed along the scalp and through the hair, a mild electrical charge "zaps" any small thing that gets caught in the metal teeth. It also zaps any small raised places on your scalp, which hurts. I didn't have lice; three people who checked my hair and scalp saw no evidence of them. But I was convinced I did so I kept using products, and finally the Robi comb. Now I think the crawliness I was feeling was moving morgie hairs and not live moving critters. I don't think there was anything there to "zap" except for morg debris and the raised sores on my scalp, which were probably where the morgs were. Here's a bad analogy; just my half-baked theory: if you zap an ant hill with a mild electric current, it doesn't kill the ants inside; they'll run in all directions. I think that's what happened in a sense. All those little raised sores were "morg hills". (They do get under skin tumors and maybe even cause them. I have lots of those.) When I used the Robi comb, I think it dispersed them to other areas very fast. Within days I had crawliness everywhere. I also think these things either have or cause electrostatic activity. Seems to me "zapping" them might make it worse. Maybe if you're using a charge great enough to kill all of them, it might work. But how would you know? And how much of an electrical charge is safe to use repeatedly without medical supervision?

I remember when I was a kid seeing ads in magazines for electrical gadgets that would cure certain diseases through mild electrical shock. I googled a lot last night trying to find reference to them but couldn't. They were phony-baloneys, of course. Those kinds of ads eventually disappeared and became the subject of humor. Well, they're baaaaaaaaack.....Cynical's right about stimulating cancer cells, and also mild electrical shock can be deadly to someone who has a heart irregularity.
