Default Collembola and Morgellons

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone here have both Collembola and Morgellons. They both have similar symptoms and the only reason why we think we also have collembola is the feather sensations over my face, lots of activity around eyes, ears, nose and the odd hopping sensation, especially at night. I am also wondering how to treat ourselves and do they have similar treatment protocols? It is confusing if they have similar treatments when they sound opposites?

Someone mentioned on a thread that collembola goes mainly for clean blood and morgellons mainly more toxic blood eg: smokers. I was a heavy smoker for years but quit when I was 25 yrs (I am 37yrs now), which could be why I got both - toxicity maybe remains in system from back then and now have very healthy lifestyle.

Anyway, would love to hear any feedback.

Bye for now,

Laura

Hi Laura,

Have you seen this blog (scroll down for the collembola stuff)

Collembola (Springtails) Morgellons – A Mundane Approach

One important point that Mr CS makes is that springtails don't go through larva and pupa stages - ie they have an "ametabolous" life cycle, meaning that they DO NOT undergo metamorphosis. Sooo the 'nymphs' are like little adults except in size.

This is important because morgellons seems to have a larva and pupa stage/element.

The MRF posted a critique of a paper published in 2004 on the collembola infestation issue, which I tend to agree with, having seen the micrographs from the studies.

http://www.morgellons.org/docs/Collembola.pdf

...sceptical that springtails cause DOP/morgs.

Time will tell...

Jo x

Ps - Jim, please stop.

Jo, there's an outbreak of new persons (okay Jim, I tried to find a new phrase) suddenly discussing collembola on MDR (of course we have heard about the collembola theory before). I do not believe this recently revived discussion is coming out of thin air, but is probably connected to someone who seems to be selling "treatments" via an MLM who I have found out quite a bit about and who was discussed indirectly on another thread as giving "free" consults. I don't think all this nattering on about collembola is without an agenda behind it. Some of the people appear to be direct sellers and others appear to be direct supportersof the sellers (to make it look as if another member can see how helpful whatever it is might be for "curing" Morge symptoms). There's been a lot of music lately along these lines. . As the hackneyed and cliched phrase of the year goes: Just sayin'.

Default I hope you're not referring to me...

I posted several times on a thread yesterday that mentioned collembola and I actively discussed the website that was mentioned. In fact, I was the primary poster there for awhile. Is that a problem?

springtail do not cause morgs jo. But I do know I once had springtail by the many hundreds. Bathing does not get rid of them. They will not wash out. They do bury into the skin. Something about morgs will attrack them. Be it the yeast or mold or whatever in the skin. Maybe they even use the tunnels of the other bugs to bury into. But have them I did.To gid rid of them I salted myself and my house.Lice shampoo was a no winner. Salt does not kill them but does drive them out. Salt makes them find an exit. Thank god i,m beyond that part now.Try putting on a motorsycle helment and have them all come to life when you venture outside. The movement will cause a Jillyman to jilly Ugh! I even had one wag of a derma tell me to quit bathing. Boy was I rotten mad when I left.
