Default Temperature Morgellons Treament

I wanted to share some observations and to see if others notice this as well. Morgellons Disease is less active in cooler temperatures. My first winter after I was infected in Colorado was unusually harsh having 4 blizzards. I was out in all of them to get relief.

Even still in my home if the temperature gets above 72 degrees I become uncomfortable. In the warmer months in my room I constantly have a fan blowwing this helps me to sleep and keeps stuff from bothering me. Yes I am doing better but I still have to do things to manage.

This disease is bad. If you have body chills radiant heat is much better than central heat at least from my experience. I do use a heating pad in the winter months.

Please share your thoughts and experiences on this topic.

Many Thanks, (LC)

Default Temps

I've only had one annual cycle; I became symptomatic this time last year, and it looks like it's cyclic. I'm having a lot of the same symptoms I had this time last year. I went through a very rough winter so I can't say that the cold weather helped, but maybe it was because at the time I wasn't quite with the program yet. However, in the past 12 months, I've been most comfortable in super-hot temps of Texas summer; over 90. It surprised me because I've read that it's worse in summer. It wasn't for me. I went probably 3 months with almost no symptoms. It makes me wonder if it has something to do with when a person becomes symptomatic and what seasonal critter might have infected them at that time. Maybe they become active at the same time every year? Just a guess; I really don't have a clue.

When I was really sick with "M" I got hit hard in October and March for several years in a row. I never noticed that temperature had much to do with my symptoms.

My home has radiant heat (hot water).

Good to see you LC!

Always good to see you Jonsi. Thanks others for contributing your experinces. It just seems to me I am fine at 72 degress in the house. Above that what I have left become more active and it is unpleasant.

I have been doing well on the GABA got some more and does not seem like I have to have a certain brand I got a better deal on some stronger. I upped my dosage of this natural enzyme because although not cure cure it really seems to help me regarding lessening Morgellons symptoms.

I sleep better just so much better even when just a few hours amazing how much it helps without making me feel groggy. I hate feeling groggy clarity of mind is something I treasure. I shed less one of the few things I look forward to taking. I hate pills.

I am a believer that parasites & fungus cause mental illness in a lot of cases. Mentally ill people suffer more episodes of unstability around the changing of the seasons. Therefore M is more active then. That's why the full moon brings reaction from M and also why people tend to loon during full moon.
My point is I think it's the changes that bring on more symptoms.

I agree with you Bee, it is the change in the seasons and the weather which can effect symptoms in each individual. I believe parasites become more active when the body is at its weakest point. So if you have lung symptoms in the fall and the parasites become more active they could be in the lung. Also your lung function may not be as strong as it could be. This is sort of how TCM works its treatments, using the seasons and the body organs to detect what is wrong in the body and then treating it.
