I took grapeseed capsuales and put them in olive oil and smeared them on my face. I could not believe the black fibers that came out on my face. It looked like someone threw dirt in my face. I have been having these black spec on my face for sometime but only a few. sammy

Hi Sammy,
I ask because I have seen both products. Some people really advocate using the Grapefruit seed.
Sounds like a productive treatment. Was there any itching or stinging when you did this? How are you doing today? Olive oil is pretty great. Adding a little coconut oil may help too. Coconut oil penetrates the pores/skin very deeply and is very antifungal. A lot of people think the black specks are a type of fungus. So will you be making this a part of a routine? It sounds like a very effective way to purge the black specks.

Thanks xibl for your comment. I have been taking salt baths almost every night. My husband buys pool salt for our pool and just realized a month ago I could use this instead of epson salts which get a little expensive. This did not make my face itch but also rubbed it in my scalp and a thousand must have come out. will try also getting coconut oil and trying that as well. I have had so many people who come up too me and say I have dirt on my face. Have told the derm on my last visit and she gave me retin a. which really doesnt do anything. sammy
