| Again... another great find. Essential oils can be very strong and Tea Tree is one of the stronger ones. Perhaps doing a small test on the inside of your wrist would be good before doing the recommended topical treatment, especially if treating open wounds/lesions. Many essential oils must be mixed with a carrier oil such as coconut or jojoba oil first before applying. A few drops in the salt bath would be helpful too. Just a few drops, you can always add more if you feel okay with the amount already added. Xib Last edited by xiblanque; September 22nd, 2010 at 04:56 PM. |

| There is a great antifungal,anti-microbial carrier oil to use for essential oils. It is called caprol. It is more or less a 50/50 blend of organic unfiltered raw coconut oil which contains caprylic acid combined with organic cold pressed virgin olive oil which has oleic acid. Caprylic acid is antifungal, Oleic acid follows the mycelial root-tentacles of Candida Albicans to the base of the root and kills it there. It also hinders any additional conversion of C.A. yeast into its Mycelial fungal form which is very invasive. Caprol can be used topically to treat the symptoms of itching and rashes caused by the fungi exiting the body. It relieves these symptoms and prevents further infection. Adding drops of essential oil like Tea Tree or the Thieves' Oil blend would make it even more effective. Perhaps adding other ingredients to this may make a more effective treatment against biofilm? Certain enzymes like papain, bromalain and others dissolve mucuous. So does raw apple cider vinegar. Maybe treating with these first followed by an oil blend of caprol and teatree would work. I have used caprol with essential oils and bentonite clay on my lesions with good results. Some biofilm is internal in the Gastrointestinal tract... others are the ones that form on lesions and open wounds externally. This treatment is geared towards external biofilm. A good cleanse may help with eliminating the internal biofilm... this MUST be done imo. Xib |
