I know this will not be received well by many but if I thought I had mites or insects on me, I would do it. And I have for crabs and lice a few times in my life. When I was 5 I got crabs in my hair and eye lashes, they had no where else to go.My dad washed my hair with kerosene and they were gone. Twice in my life I got lice and I used kerosene. While my classmates were screwing around with the shampoo, lotions and pickin'em off. They were off me. If you go to earthclinic.com you can read where a lady used lamp oil for mites and it worked well. I would only try this in the tub !

I keep thinking of getting around to using kerosene. Apparently it's what Americans used in the 19th and early 20th century for hair parasites. Maybe stopping the use of this is why Morgellons is getting out of hand. What's stopped me so far is that I have a fear of ruining my very delicate hair that has trouble even with baby shampoo. If I used kerosene I'd also use it in a tub of water to avoid a flame.

My mother grew up in rural Arkansas and kerosene was the cure-all for all kinds of things. When my very large aunt rocked over my 2 year old toe in her rocking chair in 1954 and took the nail off, they stuck my toe in kerosene. I remember it vividly. They also used it routinely to douse their mattresses for bedbugs, a normal part of life back when my mother was a kid. I still have my toe, thankfully, but just because kerosene's an old fashioned home remedy doesn't make it safe. There must be something better and safer to use. Besides, you'll smell like a giant cigarette lighter and be just as flammable.

I've had the turpentine on the back burnner of my mind since I realized I had morgies. When I was a kid in Northern California, turp. was standard opperating procdure. It was the big guns, after many things failed. When we stepped on a galvanised nail it was mandatory. Soaking the foot in turp. was a foreign thing to a kid. Sores that didn't heal, boils, it was the back hills cure all. I never used it for strep throat but many did. I'm an artist and I chuckle now, for wks. on end I've used the thinner. I have a leg that doesn't have good blood flow, and when I get morgies on it it takes twice as long to heal, I get horrible scars also. Tomorrow I'm going to try it, I have a big honkin leison and satleites around it. Its a loaded with debri crater, I try so many things encluding the kitichen sink, I'll let you know. LOL

Yesterday I dabbed some lamp oil on some lesions on my face. A few tiny pin prick size white things came out.Nothing amazing and it did not burn, looks OK. I think I will try kerosene next. I have baby fine hair and I don't remember it damaging it. It is hard to get out though. The reason I am trying this is I think those little round white cluster of bumps in the lesions are worm eggs. The reason I think so is because 1 time I felt a bump inside my lower lip. I looked and a staple size brown worm deposited an egg. I tried to pinch it to death but it slithered over and deeper. In all these years, that's the only time I witnessed such a thing. Many other oddities that do not seem to be the same type of worm. No bugs just wormy types.

I read about oil of turpentine too. When I was extremely ill with walking pneumonia.. I read that turpentine rubbed on the chest, and also making a garlic paste.... oooohhh my poor husband... did the garlic, and got better, but am willing to try either if necessary. Our ancestors did tons of things that are not practiced today, and "strangely" enough aren't even available for purchase at our local drug stores anymore. Boric Acid. is a natural way to kill insects.... but can I find it anywhere???? NO! only online. Sulphur.... can't buy it anywhere but online...... I onced asked a pharmacy tech if they had spirits of camphor...he said "WHAT?" .. hello camphor of spirits... campho phenique????? He never heard of it. love,kc
