THAT is the focus.
THAT is the reason for its existence.
THAT is what should be supported, and defended with whatever tools
are necessary.

It is a worthy mission statement. A worthy cause.

Now..how to obtain that goal..and not lose it to
the "dark forces and negative energies" that seem to seep into all interweb forums/websites.

It's not enough to proclaim lofty goals..there must be a way to hold fast
to those goals..

...a few thoughts along those lines..

Another day passes...another hour wasted by wading through the shrill
screeches coming from the "M" help forum.
Another day in which I don't post anything in this place; despite the
fact that I am in a "winner take all" struggle with the "M beasties"..
and not doing at all well at the moment. I really do not care to be
volunteering information about my fight that will undoubtedly thrown
back in my face by the forum trolls that infest this place.

I am left with the conclusion that this
forum is totally out of control. There are a
few "forum terrorists" that are keeping themselves
amused, week after week..cultivating endless "conspiracy
theories" about:
who among those providing therapy for "M"
are frauds;
which therapies are "fake";
who is shilling for "someone";
who is actually "someone else";
and who is not really
getting well..but only making false claims of better health for some
self serving reason.

{gotta' love the irony of persons who for years have
been called "delusional" about being sick"..now being tagged as
"delusional about getting well"...since they are using a therapy not approved by the "forum terrorists"}

The "ft's" [forum terrorists] never have anything
helpful, supportive, or constructive,.. to post.
They do not post about THEIR battle with the "M"..THEIR gains or losses.
No, it's always about tossing "conspiracy hand grenades"
into the "help" forums..and then machine gunning the survivors using personal attacks.

Nothing is done about these saboteurs.
Despite some of them being bold enough to state
that even if banned they will simply come back and
make more trouble..openly defying whatever moderation
there might be...[which apparently is not much.]
Locking one thread only to have the same troublemakers start another..is not a solution.
I find it utterly counterproductive..and in opposition to the
stated goals of this site, to LOCK useful threads because of the
sabotage activity of a few "career troublemakers".


It is my conclusion..[for what it's worth]
that the people running this site need to make a command decision about what their goal
is in maintaining the "help" forums:

will it be to continue
providing a place for injured, hurting people to share information and
find a path to wellness..?

or:
provide a free fire zone for every sociopath with a conspiracy
theory..or a personal agenda to pick off those innocent newcomers that
are lured here by the claims of "dedicated to help and
support".

This site has become distressingly like a watering hole in
a parched place..
a watering hole infested with crocodiles..and patrolled
by hyenas. If you post..there is no escape.

I do not envy the task of the moderators..but
as it stands..there seems to be very little point to keeping this
"help" forum open. The people most in need and looking for help are
being driven off by insane or diabolical people.

I suspect that the time for "quiet diplomacy and tactful corrections" has passed in regard
to dealing with the mutiny minded members of the crew.
It may take "ForumGestapo tactics" to restore order.

At this point, I would welcome the sight of a few burly, SMG toting guards patrolling
the halls.

Well said. It has been a rough year for me trying to hold down my job and getting more and more sick. If I don't find some help soon, I may not survive much longer. My white count has dropped from 5.4 to 3.3 since January. I am losing weight at a ridiculous rate (which would have been great had I been trying). The brain fog is getting worse. I am trying everything that I can afford. I have a son with Down syndrome and can't leave him with mountains of debt. I'm terrified that he might get this and no one will take care of him if my husband and I pass. People being cruel to people here is not what we need and you are right to point that out.

I would like to see the site that was here before this group of peddle pushers came here with there agenda to grow a persons online exposure, to Drop a Name over and over again. To drop Product names over and over again on any post they could some how squeeze it into to make sense.

I actually have made all the connections I know how they are connected now. So stop claiming you are not here to sell something especially those that are but make others look bad for seeing through them. The connections are in black and white not some conspiracy theory.

If you would like I could make a family tree for you. Misinformation on the part of those selling is what got me looking into this further. If the only intention you had was to help others get well you would not have given your misinformation about only certain devices being safe for use. I don't care what you think of me at this point. I'm going forward with a compliant to the FDA.

You came here and disrupted this board with your constant sales pitch. I am sure I am not the only one able to see that. For those that have improved I am happy for you but to think it is ok for those that came here telling others only their devices were safe and still don't see the problem then you are not really thinking about others financial well being that come to this site.

I love this site and trust its established members without question. All sufferers in crisis, coming here for support, friendship and a morgie family, get it if they want it (i believe), pretty much 24/7.

We've had a number of new members recently who don't seem to register because they want support. They bowl up stating their 'answers' to morgellons. Then they respond poorly to open challenge (a sign of significant pyschological dysfunction).

I think we all have the right to shake down anyone who is threatening the overall health of the site, especially if they are unknown.

The crazed accusations against the new people have gone over the top. The mistruths and the twisting of any valid attempt at rational exchange of information makes this place like an infestation.

I was actually thinking today if a web site could get infested with Morgellon's Disease this is how it would feel.

I'm with you Cyn, anyone that takes the time to carefully read all of the posts by cureme, chatcat, and fracty, (this is just the beginning of my list) would see exactly what we are talking about. There are threads where the only posts are from these individuals going back and forth with posts apparently just to keep the thread alive, and every time they post they make sure to not only drop the name staninger but to make sure that they provide a link or two where her products can be purchased, a twelve year old could see through this scam. They don't stop there, all other treatment protocols are bad mouthed and they warn people not to try this or that, they also make sure to point out that just using staninger products is not the answer, you have to consult with her if you want to beat this.

If by chance Dr Staninger is not directly involved or aware that this type of deceptive advertising is being used to sell her products then maybe some of you folks that really appreciate her need to bring this to her attention.

This is a very very serious situation we have here folks, it's not going to go away, in fact I'm considering starting a blog designed specifically to investigate and report on the practices relating to staninger products and services, staninger watch. So go ahead and attack me for this, I would expect nothing less, but it will fall upon deaf ears.

P.S. I'm predicting that after a close review of chewtoys posts lhis/her name will probably be added to my list.
