Default Its sad the Doctor situation

You know you need to keep records on all this for later when the truth be told. Is it not a problem for them to treat you as a crazy person when your actually sick at the very least you can go in one last time to SHAME them with their own without any proof of anything and no testing done GUESS DIAGNOSIS.

The two 2 month rounds of antibiotics the dr's gave me helped a little.
So did the sulfur wash and ringworm cream and retin-A. Even though they don't know what their treating. Some of the meds help.

I have to suck it up around the dh and not mention bugs and such anymore

if you started out with lice, maybe your allergic to the lice bites.. ? sedatives? hehe, any good ones? i need some muscle relaxers, most dermatoligists dont perscribe sedatives, thats amental health doc usually...hehe.. or med doc..either way..derms usually dont.. at least none i can find..Jk
ps.. now that sulfer drug screwed me up, so i stopped taking it and asked doc to change meds

Sammy,

Can you get a referral to an infectious disease doctor. Do you have pets? You could use that as reason you want to see one. I don't think anyone has had good result with a dermatologist to this day.

Do you live in the states that border Mexico? Have you traveled outside of the country before you got this.

There are some great suggestions on the treatment sections of this website that can help give you some relief from some of it. Try the basic ones first. Don't jump into to the high cost ones without trying some of the other first.

You are not crazy.

Hang in there!

Default One of the worse thngs to do

Never see a Dr. of any discipline at the same clinic. Before your appt. they get your medical chart, see what other Dr(s) have said and most often you'll get the same tx from any Dr. at that clinic. They all stick together. I went to an infectious disease Dr. at the same clinic I saw a Derm. and got the same tx.

For one thing, they have "end of year" reviews. When I worked in chart auditing, at the end of the year employees had to do a review on themselves and were also required to anonomously review 1-3 cthe o-workers. I think that's self explanatory.

Another thing is they don't want to have animosity. This is their career and they are not going to lose all they have and have worked for, plus their retirement benefits just because they differ from other Dr. opinions.

I read once that if you want a second opinion on a cancer diagnosis you should see a Dr. outside of at least a 200 mile radius in order to get an unbiased opinion.

AND, I learned this the hard way, NEVER NEVER put on a history form if you have ever been depressed. Not even the least bit depressed. It is always a way out for a Dr. when he hasn't a clue what's going on. Use to be cigarettes but I think depression is right up there too.

Right now I am on the protocol fopr Chlamydia Pneumonisa and Mycoplasma because my titres were elevated. I have a pain Dr. who is self employed and what a difference. He won't even work at a big clinic even though he coul dmake more money, but he says their is no patirent care or compassion at them. How true that is. Now days it's almost like drive by appts. In and out as soon as possible to keep up the patient stats for that end of year review.

Anyway, I first started with Doxycyclene for a month- 1 100mg a day- then Azithromycin 250 mg 2 x day on Mon.- Wed.- Fri. added to the Doxy. Now the Doxy is 2 x day- still taking the Azith. Next appt, he will add an antiparisitic med. The reason for this is because these tings are smart. When they notiv=ce the Doxy they change their life form form a spirochete to a cyst and then the Doxy does nothing to them. Hence the different antibiotics.

HEY- maybe I'll end up with microbes that have DOP from antibiotocs. Delusional Microbes. How's that for a diagnosis??

I also went to allergy doc. Tested Strong for candida, mold and dust so I take antigen drops and Nystatin, 500,000 mg 3 tabs 3 x day.

I am not going to expext results (if any) real soon. I resd theay Mycoplasme takes months to treat.

However, I have noticed that my nose has gotten better inside. It use to be like I had polyps so big in each nostril I could not breathe through my nose. This has gone down noticibly. I also do not have the "M" things so badly in my nose.

I pray for patience and the Lord's help in dealing with this most horrific thing.

Just a few things I wanted to add. I hope others are able to find an independent Dr. but it is so hard these days.
