Default Treatment

There are many ways to treat this. Read thru all the posts as far back as you can. Ivermectin/Stromectol in huge doses is good, so are Dapsone and Rifamicin and Bactrim.

The trick for me is that the above drugs must be taken constantly in large enough doses to be like chemotherapy.

Use your good insurance to get a doctor who will monitor your body while you try working up to large doses, and who will prescribe them.

If I had the money, I would also cut out or laser whatever I could.

Yes, Hadrian, I have 2 health insurance policies - city and federal government - I have had almost zero medical care or attention with my policies.

oooh, I have never taken a pharmaceutical medicine for "Morgellons". I don't want anyone to believe that you need health insurance and prescriptions to get through this.

As far as I know, no MD recognizes "M" as such, and prescribes pharms off the cuff.

Anyone who has found long term benefits using pharmas should respond.

Natural/homeopathic medicine has worked for my 11 year old daughter & myself.

Health Freedom Threats: Codex, FDA, Vaccinations, GMOs :: HealthFreedomUSA.org We need to protect our rights to natural medicine.

This is what helped us: Total Body Modification Seminars

Good luck to everyone going through "Morgellons". It's a tough fight, but hang in there.

In the white light,

Benefits I have noticed from pharmaceutical drugs.

Acyclovir. I have no new herpes type lesions (not the same as the Morg lesions) on my back. Those I had dried up with the use of this drug. Herbs did not control this symptom.

Ivermectin did not get rid of all parasites, but certainly has slowed down the parasites I had. Far fewer of whatever parasites I had. Herbs have helped too and continue to help.

They did a ton of blood work today./ thurs is biopsy day. Then i will head too mexico in June and get some drugs if this still is present. Interesting article in Washington Post today in health section. an attorney in washington dc started going too derms in 2008 with itching so bad after many trips and asking family and friends she got a doctor that dealt w allergies and looked at her and said she had lice. i realize this is not morg but wanted too make the point they gave her so many drugs for dellision like we all get. after many trips

Hadrian,

Will ur insurance cover a lyme doctor? I've heard of lyme doctors having success treating this w a revolving combo of drugs and herbs.

I would stay awa y from Derms tho. I think my neighbor's cat is better qualified to treat this than the average derm.

Have had a lesion in my hair w lice the back speaks along w the white morgs biting me. crazy isnt it. all the money I have spent why dont they just come out and make this a disease insurance would do them selves a favor they are paying for all these tests and visits tks for your help
