Default body shaves

Hi all

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but what helps me most for the crawling itchie pinprick feeling on the skin is simple shaving. Its hard to reach some places so I do as much as i can, even hands and fingers..... I use triple blade schick extreeme 3 but there are many 3 bladed razors out there and Ive just started
using aveeno shaving cream which has oatmeal in it for soothing skin. Make sure you keep using fairly new razors. For those of you with lots of lesions this may not work well. Luckily I have no lesions.

This has helped me so much, it seems whatever is on me likes the body hair so shaving it off gets rid of alot of it. Plus it feels incredibly sexy as a side benefit!

Friski -- thanks for the great idea. BTW, I'm still cracking up about your BOB comment -- thanks for a much-needed laugh!

friski, i too have shaved my entire body for the last seven years. i use a mach three, as it seems to work the best for me. i do the double shower of the palmolive oxy dish soap plus and the selsum blue medicated shampoo. i make sure to wash nostrils, ear canals and body and scalp with both rinses. the palmolive oxy plus dish soap cuts the film and makes body slick for a shave, and the selsum blue soothes and makes a protective barrier. in ancient times they actually had scrapers and used scented oils to get dirt and residue off of the body in ancient egypt. they also shaved the scalp even and wore wigs, to help with the heat and to keep the scalp free of lice.i keep my hair in a short "do" and the only hair keep is head and brows, i even shave my arms.hope this helps,(LC).

Dish soap!? Wow that seems kind of harsh, does it dry your skin out? id love to try that if it doesn't just to save some cost.

i shaved my head for about a year , that's got to be one of the hardest things Ive ever done! i was afraid to grow it back but it seemed whatever this is the shaving on the scalp just drove it further under the scalp. My hair is long again, past my shoulders . I hate the feeling as if there's things crawling through my hair, That alone makes me feel crazy at times! But the feeling of something beneath the scalp is no better!

I sometimes wish I had a morgie partner just so we could shave each other! Wouldnt that be a fun ! Happy to make you laugh Mary ok!! Frriskay

hi everybody. seems i been gone for a while, but i've just been havin problems posting. my computer is old (ME) and that may be it. hope to have it updated soon. about shaving, i've been shaving everywhere except head and brows too & i find being shaved makes my skin so much more tolerable. i had to quit shavin my arms tho becuz i have quite a bit of hair and i can only use a blade once. (long legs, u see). i find the Schick Quattro to last the longest, its got 4 blades. i woulda mentioned this b4 but never found the topic suitable but i have been wonderin if u other girls did the same as me. brenda
