Juicing as a healing adjunct

I am considering purchasing a juicer as the next step in my M healing. I know juicing is great for you, but lately I have been reading so much about it in some of the personal studies I am doing.

Does anyone have a model they recommend? For me the NUMBER ONE FEATURE MUST be EASY CLEANING!!! I just know I will not do it (I just dont have time or space) if it is hard to clean.

I had a juicer when I first got out of college. I was so excited to use it, but then the cleaning was SO HARD I just gave it away finally. I dont want to repeat that. It was a REALLY, REALLY EXPENSIVE ONE too! Top of the line.

I do not have a dishwasher so I cannot use that as an easy help.

Has anyone used any of these? How is it and how is the cleaning? Remember, I am the WORST juicer cleaner in the world. I was born w/out that gene.

First off buy it directly from jacks web site, you can be assured he will not sell a second, there was some with bad plastic. It is a excellent machine for the small sum it coste. Here is a HUGE tip, always make sure the machine is assembled correctly or you will be eating plastic, the tipoff is the retainer bar will not easily slide into place. Assemble it a few times FIRST then use it. If I did it over again I would buy the stainless model.

The most powerful vegtables I have found is broccoli, carrots, beets,cabbage and I throw some ginder in with it, its utterly disgusting BUT it will have your skin glowing in a day AND you will have an instant high, be ready for the first time a toilet should be handy, after that do not worry, your body will gobble it up.

Spinich is another wonder veggie, but you need another form of juicer for that, its more like a press. make sure all vegtables are ready for juiceing BEFORE you turn on the machine, extended subjection to air flow will have the juice oxydizeing.

Get a book and read it.

There are some wonderful things you can also do with a blender, fruit, grain, outs, flax seed, yogurt, bee pollen, honey, cinnamon, The very best of the fruits I think is Pineapple, followed by bananna as a food, then I add frozen straberries to make it cold and a fruit juice to adjust the consistancy. Eat this and your colon will turn into a steril exast tube. If you leave the blenderized concoction sit for a hour or two it will just about blow the top off a plastic container!!!! I think the grain and the yogurt is the effective ingrediants.

Don't know either of those brands.
I have the acme. It's a great juicer with a powerful motor. Clean-up is not hard. They sell these thin tissue type liners that catch the residue vegetables in the machine. You discard them after you juice, but you still need to wash the strainer and all the components.
I don't even bother with the liners, but it sounds like you would want to use them.

Did you see the two models I said I was considering, The Pro and The Elite? Do those have problems w plastic or getting put together properly?

I have read lots about juicing. I'm very surprised it doesn't let you do spinach. Spinach is in a lot of the recipes I have saved.

And do you have to use the dishwasher to really get it clean? I don't have one.

the one I used to have also had some type of mesh liner, but if I remember correctly it was not disposable so it was SUCH a pain. Actually the whole thing was because the pulp would get hard right away and was stuck inside the machine parts and sooo hard to get off.

The juice man is the best for the money. I have had all kinds of them even a high dollar vitamix, its so powerful it will make red hot soup in minutes from the friction. Lots of money for a vitamix and it is only a glorified super duper blender.

Read my original post again, The machine is the best you just need to take care to do things correctly NO MAGIC.

Not one juicer that uses a shredder works for spinich it it would be spoiled by the time the few drops got to the juice bucket. Spinich has alot of iron, what happens to iron when it is exposed to water and air, it oxidizes. The spinning air is what kills it.

If you need spinich look up wheat grass juicer. If anyone starts going that I got the lowdown on that also. I did it for a long time. There are some problems when you grow it. You will need dirt without bugs and some natural minerals for that dirt, I have a yard full of wheat grass, makes and excellent yard grass for awhile. If you wanted to sell a house with a bad yard, wheat grass it and you will have the most beautiful yard in two weeks. Just not sure how long it lives, mine is going on three weeks in cold weather!!!!

Just in case anyone else reads this thread, here is my original question. Does anyone have personal experience w the two models below or any model they would recommend or tell someone to avoid.

I am particularly interested in how hard or easy it is to clean and if the model you have used requires a dish washer to really get it clean.

The juicers from Jack Lalane are the same EXCEPT for material.

The cleanup, not that hard except if your an antiseptic cleaning fool!

The stanless one will not STAIN, use turmeric, carrots and the white plastic modelone will turn to a real mess.

If you have the money that mega masticating model looks GREAT, I am now thinking of buying one, high regaurds from people using them.

There are blenders and there are blenders, Vitamax is a industrial workhorse that will do many special things, but a normal good quality blender should last many years using it EVERY day. The $29.95 model is not a quality machine.

Blenders are used to make completly different item, whole food is also good, chopped up into minature tiny pieces, pulp and all is wonderful for restoring the colon always use a good yogurt in the mix!

I hate to say it Fracty BUT no matter what is posted and no matter what question is asked there may be many different responces, i don't see where this one changed, you just got some of the best info you could get from someone who changed their life with a BLENDER the juicer is good but it was the blender used correctly that worked all the wonders. Cleaning out and polishing the colon restoring proper bacteria balance is the first aspect of the process. With the yogurt, fruit, grain, herb and any other thing that comes to mind, breakfast every morning( BECAUSE IT IS SIMPLE AND EASY CLEANUP) people keep doing it, it tastes GREAT. Make sure you add some kind of frozen somthing, like strawberries, they are not too hard on even a cheap blender, also use a juice to lighten the mixture.

I have given the most complete rendition of retoring the colon to health and it is not the JUICER but the BLENDER that worked the wonders, the juicer is fine but to restore the COLON, (75% percent of your immune system, check the percentage I may have under or overstated), IS PARAMONT, how can you get nutrition in unless the colon will be healthy FIRST.
The scarping done by all the roughage keeps it free of rotting bad bacteria slime.
You do not have to drink the whole thing at once, put it in tupperware bring it with you, get your mid morning rush with it. I never ate breakfast EVER untill I started to do this, I lost CRAVING and actually ate more in the morning because and I drank a whole blender full. then also normal meals and LOST WEIGHT and felt great. Maybe people learn from many answers, being that I used, blender, vitamix and ten juicers at least, maybe some of what I have said means SOMTHING, LOL. The mega masticating juicer would be my next pick. a little pricy but a lifetime of use!!!
