I was wondering what your religion is? I'm not to savy on all religions, islamic, muslim,.... budda..? I was just curious?

I don't believe in the written word, or organized religion, god, does not need books, he filled us with his word and all we need to know. If you pay attention to the written word it smells of man. God does not need to threaten or burn his creatures to follow, god does not leave billions of people stranded out of his glory because they do not know him.

That would be like a stray lost puppy coming to your door , you open the door, call it closer, then stomp on it or do like the bible says and burn it to death for violating one of your rules, no puppys on the porch!! The history in the bible is relavent but the word is open to interpretation. SO COMPLICATED!

Done battle many times with theologians, none have the same rendition, matter of fact theTanakh, Torah, Koran, and the Bible have much of the same stuff. Here we have the same directive in all these books and everyone yelling one god, MY GOD! Well you asked, its alot more complicated for me then read and believe, god gave me a brain to think, he NEVER told me to shut it off.

Oh yes if you believe in good and god there must be drmonds, yes there is, IT IS MAN!!!

I am not religious, I abandoned it when I was 18. I was Christian, then Muslim, but neither lasted more than a month. After that point, I instantly was drawn to pure meditation because there was no belief system but rather direct experience. I practiced out of curiosity and within a week I experienced the Bliss of being which convinced me that what the true saints such as Ramana Maharshi were saying was right, that there is such a thing as liberation (aka Nirvana, Salvation, Spiritual Enlightenment). All this occured at age 18-19. Also, during the last 10 years I experienced periods of unconditional love/compassion which is mans true nature. In this state, one is egoless and pure, and there is zero judgement. Both saint and sinner are loved equally.

You're totally right that if there is a God, no way is he going to be as he is portrayed in the old testemant. But if you realise this, why do you dwell on the Bible? It is obviously not for you. In fact, forget religion, it is not for you either. Leave it to those that benefit from it and find another way. The only reason I tell people to seek God is because it's universally understood and it works. But generally only people who are suffering greatly such as morgellons victims will have the desperation and therefore convition and earnestness to make God listen. The more you suffer, the more God will hear you. And if you are willing to die for the truth, you will get it.

The bible was the first stop for enlightenment! The bible holds all the answers to life, all bibles do. I could probably use some time on the top of the mountain in Tibet with the monks to relieve me of some burded, yes. I find burden goes away when I leave possesions behind and forget about security but that is while I still have a pocket with money in it. Safety, security, Nirvana is kinda hard to attain while suffering and starving, some may be able to but they are the exception to the rule. I am not talking about fasting for a week or two that is actually easy after the 3rd day. Getting carried away here, LOL.

Long and the short of it is, the bible is a GREAT GUIDE, it is very useful, the story is better than any novel, the guidence given is that of wise men and prophets, to start in the holy book for answers to life and being is just plain SMART. If you have not read the whole old testament your missing somthing as it holds ALL of what the OTHER scripts reference, even the utterences of man that would be gods, but only in their minds! Thats the Christian bible along with many others, you can recongnize the parts man wrote and inspired, its full of hate, murder, torture,monsters and hells! Man is still and always will be the monster.
