While waiting for Dr. H's office to get through that ever growing list of wannabe patients, I am feeling a little anxious to make some forward movement. Encouraged by Maryok to look for a "holistic" MD in my neighborhood I came upon the site of the American Holistic Medical Association

http://www.holisticmedicine.org/disp...barticlenbr=49

I searched for a doc in my area without specifying any "interest" and looked through the list of local MDs. I picked one out and called him this morning . In order to feel him out over the phone and not waste his time or my money I gently told him that I had been experiencing symptoms of something not yet widely recognized by the general medical community. Wouldn't you know it, he says he's had a few patients that have come to him with morgellons and he's open and interested in reviewing Dr H's protocol . I have an appt on Thursday, so wish me well and keep your fingers crossed for me!

Check out the site and see if there's any docs in your neighborhoods that you wanna give a chance to get involved!

My regular doctor is a holistic, naturopathic doctor, who is a member of I.L.A.D.S., and practically specializes with Lyme and now Morgellons these days. I think She's great, so I second that recommendation.

Hello, I'm Linda. New to this. I called Dr W. at Oklahoma State University this morning. They told me the health food store and holistic approach is the very best thing we can do at this stage of the game. God bless all I am praying for all.

Hi Linda,

Welcome to the group. We all wish we didn't need to be here, but since we do need to, you found the best information and support group available. Make sure to check out the treatment steps and read up on some of the more "tried and true" items that may offer you some relief. I have just about bought everything on my health food store shelves, some helped, some not so much, you just have to see what works for you. Again, read the treatment steps for products that may help you like DSP cream (which I haven't tried yet) and EcoVie.

Check the link I posted to the holistic medical association and see if there's any docs in your area that may be open to help you or check with Bubba in case there's a Dr. in your area.

Again, welcome to the group.
