Where to find FAR infrared saunas

Are these saunas safe for children? My daughter is 6.

My comment is no reflection on you, Gigi.....I hope you know that.

The core temp of children is a very important point....but I googled and saw the same 'warning'

John, I think you need to evaluate this for yourself by researching. So much on the internet is there to scare of debunk, but when it comes to our children we can't be too cautious.

Thanks GiGi and Kritts. I am thinking that I will get the pad first. If I see some results from that Ill pony up for the sauna. Which then Ill use the pad for my little one. I was reading that the pad emits a strong enough wave length of light to penetrate through the mattress. That way I can just out it under her bed at night and help her detoxify while shes dreaming of webkins and littlest pet shop!

If you get the right one, it can penetrate concrete (MPS Global). You can put it under her bed. I am getting one for my migraine teen, he will never see it or feel it but it will be there! It cannot hurt you so go for it. Every thing in moderation.

That's a great idea John.

I also found some for only about $800. That would have been great, but I still scraped up the $4600 I did not have to get the MPS. The things to look for are the materials used in building. (Many use toxic glues, finishes, etc.) The type of panel. (MPS is diamond carbon which supposedly is the best.)

Also, if you come across the link I posted before to the PDF file it mentions things like the temperature, number of panels, and some other important things I forget now. that link was somwhere on the MPSglobal.com site.

That is something I have been wondering about quite a bit. I have seen much contradictory info about this. Some sites say it goes through everything. Others say say no - the closer you are to the panel the better. I actually had quite a few professionals tell me you have to try to stay very close to the panels to get teh FIR. I don't know what to believe. They all have good intentions bue all have different info.
