Do you know if one can receive the benefits of the ultra-violet for Vitamin D through window glass? I don't think one can get a tan through window glass. At least that's what I've read.

Just googled and answered my own question. The rays that create vitamin D do NOT penetrate window glass, but.....

Ordinary glass is partially transparent to UVA but is opaque to shorter wavelengths

First, I guess you are talking about the MPS global models?

I guess if you can afford it, the sauna is best. You can also get the pad for intensive, spot treatment. If you can afford just the rainbow, then that will be good enough - you can get all parts of your body, which is hard to do with the pad.

All I can say is, thank GOD there are some effective treatments that don't kill us in the process. This "disease" is just awful.

The MPS pad is the least expensive and many people have done well with it only. From what I understand recovery will take longer with the pad.
This is also what Dr. Staninger said and also another person that I spoke with that had Morg.

I am currently using the pad and sleeping on it every night.
We decided to get the sauna to help the whole family ward Morg off.

I don't think that you need anymore than the pad, but if you can get the sauna you will probably see faster and better results. The nice thing about having both is that if you travel you can take your pad with you.


Personally, I don't think it is a good idea to use any FIR besides Dr. Staninger's MPS type. They cost more, but when your battling something as horrible as Morg cutting corners may not be wise. Dr. S is the expert in dealing with Morg and she knows how to help people get rid of it.
At the same time, any FIR is better than none.

I want this plague out of my life and my family safe from it so we are making it a top priority to overcome it. We will sell anything or do without other things to get this monster out of my body and protect the rest of us.
Also, I am hoping to help others that will no doubt get Morg in the future.

Starting with the MPS pad is an excellent choice.

One final question -has anyone NOT been/felt helped by use of the FIR sauna?

(There is no definitive scientific research on FIR specifically. At least not in published journals as far as I am aware. Only second hand reports about the Japanese research.)

I have had the Dr. S's pad for about 1-2 wks and sleep with it every night. I am also trying to follow her nutritional protocol as closely as possible.

It is amazing to me how much better I am doing. I almost feel normal and am working on a complete recovery. We invested in the MPS sauna and just got it in. My family is excited about not only being able to avoid what I have gone through with Morg, but the many health benefits of using it.

I just read the rainbow is 1/6 the strengh of the sauna.
Trying to convince my dh I need one of those in the bedroom is going to be a hard sell. He doesn't believe any of this. Yet.

the law will be against things like this if they list health benefits (i.e., make medical claims). Politicians are put in office from donations from drug companies, etc. They want to have the chokehold on all the money making so we are restricted from getting meds w/out doctor approval, etc. In the US tehy even tried to make herbs unavailable to us. The government is readily taking away our freedoms.

I'm not against big business or drug companies, even though it sounds that way. The more they thrive, the more we thrive, as long as they have a foundation of integrity. I am FOR fighting against and exposing companies when they lose the values of honesty and integrity. THAT is when we need to call them out - AND the politicians and organizations creating this nonsense.

It's a fine balance because if there is no legislation then you get the "snake oil" sales men who tell every lie without consequence.
