Default ice skating

Has anyone tried ice skating to help with this?

I would think that the temperature at an ice rink should be below freezing and may be able to kill some of them on your face and possibly your head if you don't wear a hat.

I was in some cold weather for awhile, and I think it made this itch on my head go away.

It's good to know that ya'll are finding something to relieve your symptoms.

Whatever it takes!

I wish people would say where they live when they register on this board. I live in northern New Mexico at 7,500 ft elevation. It's getting down to 5 -10 degrees tonight. It's very dry here.

I think exercise, sunshine, good music, good food, all helps us.

I hope some good news comes our way this next year. WE NEED answers and acknowledgment.

Peace & love to all of you,

In the white light,
~jonsi

I went to Boston in -15C winter and the morgs went crazy. I shedded lots so think the ones near surface of my skin were dying. But couldnt sustain this.

I sensed that some may have retreated further under skin and diapaused. Dying or stressed parasites will often make a final act to reproduce, but I dont know if this applies to cold conditions.

Hi Jonsi,

I also think that dry weather would be better for drying up Morgs. Linnysue used to say she had a light case. She lived in Utah, also pretty dry as well as cold this time of year. Parasites and insects in general thrive in moist areas and the places which have the most cases seem to be more damp states like FL, MS, LA, CA (along coast) etc or like UK are countries near the ocean. Still climate is only one variable in this illness. I think being in a damp place might make it harder to throw this off. Just IMHO. Oh, and please do wear a hat in the cold as the Chinese have taught me that there are many important acupuncture points in the area of the head, neck and shoulders. Most of us already have problems with these areas and exposing the head areas to cold is not really the best of ideas. Again IMHO.

Hope you all have had a good Christmas.

best, tcm

I have actually used ice packs on my head when the swelling got painful and I have had the fuzz balls surface soon after. I have wondered if dry ice treatment would help in some areas.

The right side of my head seems to be the worst don't know why other then maybe that is the side I favor when sleeping.

They sell a ice pack/heat thing on Amazon for the head I have been tempted to try it for small periods of time.

freezing does cause some forms of mold to become dormant so kind of interesting. Maybe it causes them to surface as well. I find when I put my stupid wig or hair piece in the freezer in between wearing it stays nice and does not seem to get the weird stuff in it.

What really is hard right now is my husband is scanning all our old photos from 20 years plus right now and all I can think is wow I am ugly now!
