| Has anyone tried shaving off all their hair (including body hair)? I tried this awhile back and felt like it was a step in the right direction. I also seemed to gravitate towards a healthier weight. My pant waist size went down to 29 inches, which means my weight was probably much healthier. With all my hair, my waist size tends to be between 34 and 36 inches. Also, I have found it is much easier to think clearly with a shaved head. |

| Be very careful with my suggestion! I used to pull out a lighter and burn the hair off of my arms! The smell was nothing like burning "hair". It seemed to work, and I didn't scrape my skin with a razor exposing my raw skin to bacteria, fungi, etc. I haven't had the biting, itchy crawling sensations for a long time now, but if I did, I would pull out the lighter again... One time I even used "nair" on my face. What a mess and it burned like hell, leaving lesions all over my face! Do not try nair! We do crazy things to get rid of this "M". I totally understand! Be careful so that you don't make your condition worse. Doc vacuums his hair every day to get rid of the fibers... safe! In the white light, ~jonsi

| BTW, this page discusses shaving off the worms as an old remedy: The Morgellons "With this the whole body of the child, and at the same time the worms, should be sprinkled and washed. Having done this the mouths of the Dracontia which will have advanced forward are to be shaved off with a razor. When these have been beheaded in this manner, the child should be cleansed afresh from the aforesaid lotion by bathing in castor oil, and should then be washed and the exposed, and possibly cut, skin smeared all over with Syrian salve." I really think shaving is a powerful adjunct to other therapies. |

| Hi daveaple ![]() I don't believe anyone who has modern "Morgellons" has cured our condition by shaving. I don't believe the term "Morgellons" from the 1600's has anything to do with what we are going through now. I appreciate your posts and I don't want to make you mad, but this "M" is entirely a different "bug?" from what those children suffered from almost 350 years ago. Yet, during the 1600's, Europeans were exposed to toxins, similar to what we are being exposed to now. (I'm not saying that what people were exposed to in the 1600's are the same things we are being exposed to now.) We need to clean up our act. Eat healthy foods, get a good air filter, use enzyme sprays, a hot water filter on our showers, etc... A lot of us are getting through this "M". In the white light, ~jonsi

I have had the fibers and lesions on my arms. Some lesions on legs but only sporadically and briefly. I used nair on my arms (wouldn't use anywhere on regular basis since it is strong chemical and wouldn't buy it for use either...someone left it in my house) and also have shaved them because my arm hair became fungo-hair and I think the longer the hair stays, the fungus in the shaft (or where ever it originates as part of the hair), the longer it holds that spot and contains itself. My thoughts anyway. I shave my legs daily, so that takes care of any in that area as far as getting rid of the hairs, but I don't believe they have taken over leg hair. So basically my thought is to shave or dissolve the fungo-hair and immediately was with anti-fungal like Selsun blue shampoo while bathing in epsom salt, baking soda, etc. Finish up with an essential oil of choice (I use neem or tea tree and now LOVE using coconut oil and maybe top it off with desitin cream. My arm hair has greatly improved, but you have to attack internally with healthy food, alkaline foods, getting rid of heavy metals and candida (and other fungi) with intravenous or other effective treatments to chelate and oxidize fungus and bacteria in your system. Just my 2cents. Kritts |

Do you use an electric razor? I would recommend one since it has better mulching power. It seems like it's sort of like running over snakes with a lawn mower. I like to move the electric razor up and down my legs, and it feels like a massage. And, it makes a buzzing noise when it's mulching something. For me, it makes the buzzing oftentimes when there is no visible hair in an area. |
